HISTORY
In ancient time the temple of CLAN DEITY of CHHAJERS was at Khedgarh which is now known as Tilwara and is 15 km from Balotra an important city in the district Barmer of Rajasthan. The deity decided to move to Birhami in the year 1869 when about 1250 families of CHHAJER clan

were asked by Goddess herself to construct her temple within 24 hours. The footprints of Bhuwal Mata are still worshiped at Khed. FAIR
Every year in the month of Chaitra and Aasoj the Hindu calendar of lunar months, during Navratri a fair is held in which Jain especially CHHAJJER participate from all over India and abroad. HOW TO WORSHIP
One must have taken bath before entering into temple, wear clean clothes. You may offer dry coconut in hawan or yajna. OTHER DEITIES
Statute of Lord Ganesha, Kala Bhairav, Trishul, Satimata and Hanuman are also worshiped in this temple. HOW TO REACH
This temple is only 30 km. from Jodhpur and can be reached by regular bus service or taxi.
