A number of other temples are dedicated to Shiva. Prata Darshan:
A Dhuna opposite to Sh Sita, Ram, Temple at Mandal (Katwalta)
This Dhuna as learnt speaks about the history of J&K state.
It is said that once Maharaja Gulab Singh happened to visit the Sadhu - Mahatma sitying on this Dhuna in teen age. He sat there for an hour or so and then left for home. But immediately when he walked a few steps the Mahatma saw his footprints in Sandy Devika bed and recognised these foot prints as the foot prints of a king. The Mahatma cried Oh fool, where are you going it is time for you of becoming a King and you are going your home at Vill. Deon.
You immediately move to Jammu. Gilab Singh agreed and acted as advised.
A few days later Gulab Singh was coronated as a king at Jia Pota Ghat Akhnoor.
After coronation he constructed this temple and established Rameshwar Ling on Devika river Bank at Mandal.
