J&K UT Sikh Coordination Committee to reconstruct Gurdwara Charan Kamal Asthan Guru Nanak Sahib Ji
An important meeting of J&K UT SIKH COORDINATION COMMITTEE was held today at Jammu under the Chairmanship of S. Ajit Singh ji Chairman, in which a very crucial issue related to the Historical Gurdwara Charan Kamal Asthan Guru Nanak Sahib, situated at Village Sher Manjla, Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur, in the memory of the visit of Guru Nanak Dev ji. The meeting was attended by all the members of the JK UT SIKH COORDINATION COMMITTEE along with the Committee members of Gurdwara Charan Kamal Asthan Guru Nanak Sahib headed by S. Mohan Singh Baghi, who submitted a presentation to S. AJIT SINGH ji Chairman ALL JK UT SIKH COORDINATION COMMITTEE, on behalf of the management of Gurdwara Charan Kamal Asthan Guru Nanak Sahib ji, With a demand to take the issue of transfer of land in the name of Gurdwara Charan Kamal Asthan Guru Nanak Sahib to reconstruct the Gurudwara Sahib at this Historical place which was burnt and damaged by some miscreants during the anti-SIKH riots in 1984.
All the speakers present in the meeting expressed their deep concern towards the present condition of the Gurdwara Sahib and urged S. AJIT SINGH ji, Chairman, to take the personal initiatives to remove all the hurdles & pave the way for the construction of the Gurdwara Sahib at this Historical place.
While addressing the meeting, bS. Ajit Singh Ji Chairman ALL JK UT SIKH COORDINATION COMMITTEE assured that he shall approach all the concerned authorities for the final settlement of the issue and he shall not leave any stone unturned for the construction of the Gurdwara Sahib at this Historical Village Sher Manjla Tehsil Ramnagar (Udhampur). He uploaded the farsightedness of Shriman Mahant Manjit Singh ji for the creation of the ALL J&K UT SIKH COORDINATION COMMITTEE for the betterment of the Sikh Community of J&K UT.
