On the occasion of Ignatian Year 2021-22, today as part of Children's Day celebration, we at St.Xaver's Parish have conducted a drawing and painting competition for the children from class Prep to VIII. There were 19 children who participated in the competition.

It was very encouraging to see these children using their creative skills and taking part in the competition.

We thank Rev. Fr. K. P. George S J, Fr. Pakiam,S.J, Fr. Jose Vattakuzzhy, S. J, Sr. Juliet, Sr. Sonia, Sr. Lilly, SCJM, Mr. Ashish, Mrs. Deepa, Mrs.Pinky, & Ms. Blossom for their whole hearted support for the event.

Today we have successfully completed fourth day, final distribution of ration towards reaching & helping our poor parishioners during this lockdown according to Covid protocol. About 60 poor families have benefited & they showed their heartfelt thanks to Fr. Varkey,S.J, Fr.K.P.George,S.J,& the team for helping them during this Pandemic. The initiative taken by Fr.Varkey Perekkatt,S.J, Fr.K.P.George,S.J, in association with Xavier's LTS Club and in rememberence of Late Mr Nadeem Haq, St.Xavier's School teacher. The materials sponsored by two ex-Xavierites, Mr Tanmay and Mr Parth. We, the Parish Council Members, express their gratitude to Fr. Varkey,S.J, Fr. K.P.George,S.J., Ms Neelam Chopra, Mrs Mini Babu, Mr Nikhil Jose & Mr Babu Thomas for their efforts, spending their valued time, and heard works in these four days. And our gratitude to Mr Tanmay Agarwal & Mr Parth Laxman for sponsoring the materials, a great help. Also thanks to Mr Manoj, Michael & Ignace for their physical help. A special thanks to our young & dynamic Nikhil towards his efforts, finding the sponsors, making arrangements of materials, ensuring his presence during the distribution. Hope, we will continue to serve the poor next month. May God continue to bless all.

Like last year, we, St. Xavier's Church, Jaipur, have started their helping hands towards the poor parishioners. The initiative taken by our loving Fr. Varkey, S.J, & Fr. K.P.George,S.J, the new Parish Priest, in association with Xavier's LTS club in rememberence of a School staff late Mr Nadeem Haq. The distribution of ration packets sponsored by Mr. Tanmay Bhatnagar (2002 batch) & Mr. Parth Laxman (2010 batch), like last year our young & energetic Nikhil Jose alongwith Babu Thomas & Mini Babu lead the noble cause. We have divided into four small beneficiary groups in accordance with the Covid protocol from 16th May to 19th May. The planning and coordination for the smooth distribution done by our Parish Council Secretary Ms Neelam Chopra. I express my gratitude to dear Fathers, Nikhil, Babu,Mini, and Neelam. Thank you very much dear Tanmay & Parth for your support & help.

Very sad demise of Sr. Rose Isabel is touched me, my deepest condolences and prayers. May her soul rest in peace. She's the Mashiha for the poor, marginalized irrespective of caste, religion or creed. She served abroad & Several cities in India finally Jaipur. Yesterday she was admitted in St. Francis Hospital, Ajmer, today evening at 7.30 she called for her Heavenly Abode. I am very much attached, worked, many times she visited my house. Last I met her on 3rd April, 2021 during & after Easter Vigil. After the Holy Mass, all went, two MC sisters & two SCJM Sisters along with myself and Bunty left for binding up the Altar clothes, flowers, candles, etc. Then I took few snaps of sisters. I have lost one of my best sister in Jaipur.
