“What is not surrendered cannot be used by God.”
(Romans 12:1)
In simple words, God can fully work through a person only when that person willingly gives their life, plans, desires, and actions to Him.
Romans 12:1 says that believers should offer themselves to God as a "living sacrifice." This means:
Surrender your heart to God.
Trust His will more than your own.
Obey Him even when it is difficult.
Let Him guide your decisions.
For example:
If someone wants God to use their talents but refuses to obey God, they are not fully surrendered.
If someone gives their worries, dreams, and future to God, God can work through them more powerfully.

Some people keep looking at the clock while praying, waiting for the prayer to end. Their knees are on the ground, but their hearts are somewhere else."
"Prayer is not about spending time with the clock; it is about spending time with God. When we truly love God's presence, we stop watching the time and start seeking His face."
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." — Colossians 4:2
