“GOD IS TESTING YOU – DON’T GIVE UP”
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
today I did not come with a motivational speech from the world.
I came with a word from heaven.
Because many of you are smiling outside…
but crying inside.
Many of you are worshiping God…
but secretly asking,
“Lord, how long?”
And the answer God put in my spirit today is this:
God is testing you—but don’t give up.
🛠️ POINT 1: GOD’S TEST IS NOT GOD’S REJECTION
The Bible says in James 1:2–3:
“Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials…
because the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Notice this church—
the Bible does NOT say if trials come.
It says when trials come.
Trials are not a sign that God has left you.
Trials are a sign that God is working on you.
God never tests what He plans to abandon.
He tests what He plans to promote.
🔥 POINT 2: FIRE DOES NOT DESTROY GOLD — IT REVEALS IT
Gold is tested in fire.
Not because it is fake,
but because it is valuable.
Likewise, God allows fire in your life
not to burn you,
but to remove what does not belong.
1 Peter 1:6–7 says:
“Though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief…
these have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold—
may be proved genuine.”
Church,
if you are in the fire right now,
it is because God sees something precious in you.
🕊️ POINT 3: GOD IS WITH YOU IN THE TEST
Hear the promise of God in Isaiah 41:10:
“Do not fear, for I am with you…
I will strengthen you and help you.”
God did not promise a life without storms.
But He promised His presence in the storm.
When Daniel was tested,
God was with him in the lion’s den.
When the three Hebrew boys were tested,
God was with them in the fire.
And today,
the same God is with you.
🚪 POINT 4: DON’T QUIT BEFORE THE BREAKTHROUGH
Many people quit in the middle of the test.
They stop praying.
They stop believing.
They stop trusting.
But listen carefully:
your test has an expiration date.
God is not slow.
God is not late.
God is never confused.
What you are going through
is preparing you
for what you have been praying for.
🙏 CALL TO FAITH
So today, I challenge you:
Don’t give up on God
Don’t give up on prayer
Don’t give up on your calling
Because after the test
comes the testimony.
After the cross
comes the resurrection.
🕯️ CLOSING PRAYER
Let us pray.
Lord Jesus,
strengthen everyone who is being tested today.
Give them faith when they feel weak.
Hope when they feel hopeless.
We declare that this test will not break them—
it will build them.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
