Wildfire / Forest fire continues to rage in Lunglei as firefighters and local volunteers stayed up throughout the night to prevent it from spreading to homes and petrol stations. To make matters worse, there is huge scarcity of water because of the long dry weather. Local vehicles transported water from nearby sources to feed the firetrucks.

Families nearby had to gather their things out of their homes in case of emergency. Many wild animals burned, surviving ones had to crawl to the roads for shelter. Please pray for Lunglei.
