Established in 1931, with a very few Sikh population from awang sekmai and iroisemba and Imphal ( Manipur ). initially gurudwara was very small and being built up in huge after many Sikh families migrated from Burma as a refugee and settled down in Imphal and built the same with a Punjabi school in it and now named as Guru Nanak public school .
