We warmly welcome each and every one of you to Emmanuel Baptist Fellowship, Imphal. It is truly a joy and a blessing to gather together in the presence of the Lord for this time of worship and fellowship.
Today, we are especially honored and privileged to have Dr. Prem Christian with us, who will be delivering the Word of God. We believe that God has prepared a message through His servant to speak into our lives, strengthen our faith, and draw us closer to Him.
As we worship together, may our hearts be open & receptive, and may the presence of the Lord fill this place. Let us come with thanksgiving, expectation, and reverence.

Today, we are blessed to hear the Word of God through Dr. Prem Christian, as he brings us a powerful message from Matthew 4:1–11.

Before Jesus Christ began His public ministry, before miracles were performed and sermons were preached, He faced a hidden but intense battle in the wilderness. After His baptism where God declared, “This is My beloved Son.” Jesus was led by the Spirit into a place of testing.

This passage reveals a deep spiritual truth: every calling is often preceded by testing, and every declaration of identity is followed by temptation.
In the wilderness, Jesus confronts the devil not with displays of power, but with obedience and the Word of God. Where humanity failed, He stood firm. Where others fell, He remained faithful.

As Dr. Prem Christian shares this message today, may we open our hearts to learn not only about Christ’s victory, but also how we can stand strong in our own spiritual battles.
