A believer is one who profess faith in Christ. Or follow exactly as the word says because it's His word.
Sometimes, as a believer, we go through certain challenges and situations and we think that God is not with us or is not talking to us or answering our prayers.
We doubt God's existence or His power to deliver us. It's when our faith shakes and fear starts. But we fail to realize God is always willing to answer but we don't like to hear him the way He wants.
We want God to talk to us like He did with Abraham. But then Abraham didn't have the opportunity to talk to God like we do with the Bible. We have more of God’s word than Abraham did then. Though God had to talk to him direct, it was not constantly happening then.
However, we have that opportunity to constantly hear and receive the Word of God through Bible. The spoken and living word of God is right with us. But we fail to read or follow. We need to obey what we have first. It is impossible for God not to answer when we call?
When the righteous call, God delivers them - psalmist says – Psalm 34:17.
When the righteous call God answers and He answers mostly through this word which we fail to read, follow and obey
We are called true believers only when we read the word of God and follow it. The more we follow, the more our faith increases and the more we abide in Christ.
And it's only through our faith we are called righteous. Only by abiding in the true vine and He in us we are called righteous. And then we call up, God definitely answers.
