We had a beautiful service at Rest Church on Sunday, where we experienced God’s goodness in a tangible way. We had a panel consisting of Pastors Joy, Preethima, and Prathima, speaking on “Humility,” talking about the true meaning of humility and how to live humbly.

Family, humility is valuing others above yourself. Don’t do anything out of selfish ambition or conceit. The differences between pride and humility are:

* Pride seeks to control; humility says that you are free to choose.
* Pride cannot take a ‘no’ without shame or condemnation; humility can take a ‘no’.
* Pride seeks to figure everything out by self; humility is to learn from Jesus.
* Pride shows up to look good; humility shows up out of love.

Above all, humility is staying in a position of rest, even in difficult times.

Join us this Sunday as we continue to focus on who God is. We can’t wait to experience God’s tangible presence together ...

What a beautiful Sunday at Rest Church ✨

We experienced the tangible presence of God throughout the service as Pastor Joy shared on the revelation of God as a humble God:

• God loves us without a hidden agenda
• God meets us where we are
• Jesus is with us as One who serves

We also celebrated Mother’s Day with a special breakfast lovingly prepared by the children and men for all the amazing mothers 💐 Thank you for your sacrifice, steadfast love, and for raising world-changers with such grace.

Tomorrow is going to be extra special, family, as we begin by honouring the mothers in the house with a special breakfast at 8:30 AM.

If you are a mom — or a spiritual mom to someone — we would love for you to join us and allow us to celebrate and appreciate you with a breakfast lovingly prepared and served by the men of the church.
