Description
This temple was established in 1801 by Gunna ji, Guuna ji was working under nizam sarkar as munim and he dosnt have any children,
once a saint suggested him to pray lord panduranga so that his wish w
ill be fullfilled. As per the saints suggestion Gunna ji started aradhana of lord panduranga and built a small temple on the bank of muchkunda(moosi)
river in the dense forest, and with the devine blessings of lord pandurang he was blessed with a child. More imporantly ,this is very suprising that hyderabad was in a dense forest and the temple was located in the dense forest and thus it is being called as JUNGLE VITHOBA MANNDIR, now it is located in the heart of the city near MGBS bus stand. Even more important significance of the temple was, once upon a time in 1908 there was huge flood in river moosi and whole hyderabad(bhagyanagar) was submerged in water and with the blessings of lord vithoba many people have been saved by taking shelter on the roof top of the temple which created history . important days celebrated in temple:
