Hope Evangelical Ministries was founded by Bro. Surendra was born on 24th September 1965 in a small town called gudur, Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Masthanaiah who started a school in the year 1966 for poor and needy in the same town was his inspiration in
serving the needy. But unfortunately he passed away at a very young age leaving Surendra fatherless at the age of eleven.With the help of so many well wishers and relatives Bro Surendra could continued his education but being influenced by bad friends and fellowship he participated in all sorts anti social activities and even went to the extent of questioning God's existence. At that moment , God miraculously interfered in Bro. Surendra's life through Rev. Dr. Joel meyer, a life time missionary to India from U.S through whom Bro. Surendra accepted the Lord as his personal Saviour and became a follower of Jesus. In the year 1985 God blessed him with a job in State Bank of India and thereafter in the year 1990 God added a saint Mrs .Kamala as his wife and blessed him with a son and daughter Abhinav and Abigail. In the year 1995 June 18th Lord led him to start a Ministry called Living God Ministries through which he worked as a missionary in several villages. As a fruit of the mission's work in these rural areas 2 churches came into existence where he served as pastor at both the churches from 1995 to 1998 while he was working for State Bank of India.Owing to his commited service God called him for the full time ministry in the year 1998 and placed him as the Director for Evangelism and Promotion for Project Christ India under the leadership of Bro. Sankaraiah. Later he was promoted as Exe.Director for the same Organisation and served in the same position till 2001 June. God in his own plan brought Bro. Surendra and Richard David Dick Spencer together in Jan 2001.Both of them felt peace in their hearts to work together which resulted in the existence of Hope Evangelical Ministries at Hyderabad. Hope Evangelical church Started with seven families in the year 2001 August 15th and has now grown to 1500 members Church with 3 branches in the city of Hyderabad and 13 branches outside. The church also started a school for poor and needy in the year 2004 and serving their educational needs since 10years.Presently the church is also a supporting Children home, A missionary at South Africa.
