Telengana state honable Chief Minister Sri. K Chandrashekhar Rao on Wednesday announced plans for the Bhadrachalam temple’s grand makeover, including an airport between Kothagudem and Bhadrachalam. As the part of beautification of the Kanaka Durgha Varadhi Cross road in Vijayawada, a 27 feet high Buddha statue will be constructed. This is been designed by art director Shri. Anand Sai. Including the basement, the height of the construction will be 40 feet. This project will be completed in four months. The estimated cost is nine crore as it will be made entirely in sandstone.
