*Something Beautiful*
*Isaiah 64:8, NIV Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.*

There’s nothing beautiful about clay. It’s just an earthy material that develops plasticity when wet. But when the potter puts the clay on the wheel and begins to spin it, he never takes his hands off it. It doesn’t look like much, but the potter keeps molding it until it begins to take the shape of a vase, plate or bowl. *The potter says, “Just give me some time. You see a lump of worthless clay, but I see something beautiful and valuable.”*

God is our potter. He never takes His hands off us, shaping and molding us. All those times when you thought God had forgotten about you, His hands were on you. When you weren’t making good decisions, when you were giving in to temptations, He didn’t throw you out because you’re clay, with faults and weaknesses. His hands have always been on you, and He’s never going to take them off you. If you stay in faith and give God the time, He will shape you into something beautiful, into His image.

*Prayer: Loving Heavenly Father, thank You that You are the potter and I am the clay. Thank You for where I am right now, faults and all, and that You are molding and making me into Your image. Help me to have the confidence that Your hands have always been and will always be upon me. In Jesus Name, Amen.*

*Daily Word*

*God will listen to my prayers*

*This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.1 John 5:14-15*

*Have you ever been in prayer and suddenly had the disturbing sensation that God simply wasn’t listening to you?*

It’s happened to all of us. But few of us know just what to do about it. We just limp along praying the same old prayers, half-hoping those prayers are heard and half-suspecting they’re not.

*Today I want to show you how to resolve that dilemma once and for all.* But let me warn you, Would you think that God will listen to any old doubtful, self-centered thing you say to Him. *He won’t.* He has promised to listen to our prayers that are prayed according to His will. The *Apostle John says when you pray like that, you’ll know that you have the petitions you desire of Him.*

The word petition is defined as “a formal, written request addressed to a sovereign superior for a particular right or grace,” and that’s exactly what you need when you are praying about something serious.

*How do you put together a solid petition, one that’s in line with the will of God?*

First, you have to dig in to the written Word. Find scriptures that apply to your situation and make those the foundation for your petition.

Then get on your knees and consult with the Holy Spirit. Let Him help you develop your petition in detail. *The best way to do that is to spend time praying in other tongues.* (See Romans 8:26-27.) Expect God to reveal things from His heart to yours. He wants you to know His will. So, while you are praying, listen!

Lastly write it down. Make a formal written request by writing down every scripture you find. Also, as you are listening to the Holy Spirit for the details, write down the impressions and ideas He gives you.

*Take your time. Let the Spirit develop your prayer. Let the truth He reveals to you settle in and begin to work in you.* Get your petition firmly in mind, then when you’re ready, present it to God.

*Prayer: Lord I Believe in You, Let your Will be done,I believe that you are listening to my prayers and you will Answer it, In Jesus Name,Amen.*

Have you ever tried to help
someone with a task, only to
be told that you were doing it wrong? You were doing your best, yet because it was not the way the other person would do it, it wasn't "right."

People often treat God the same way. He has an amazing plan for each of us, yet we still try to wrestle the control from him. He provides his best for us, yet we question and complain
because he isn't doing it our way.

*Don't miss God's wonderful peace today by choosing your own plans over his. He will give perfect peace to you when you trust him and how he does things.*

*Prayer: Dear God, please forgive me for choosing my plans over yours and complaining. Thank you for your perfect plans and perfect peace. Amen.*

*WE HAVE DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS*

*“For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 12:12.*

We complement each other in the Kingdom. Paul said in *1 Corinthians 3:8-9 (AMP) ~ “He who plants and he who waters are one [in importance and esteem, working toward the same purpose]; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers [His servants working together]; you are God’s cultivated field [His garden, His vineyard], God’s building.”*

Every part of the body has its own function. What the eye can do, the ear cannot do and what the mouth can do, the nose cannot do. Every calling has its audience.*Peter was called to the Jews while Paul was called to the Gentiles. Galatians 2:8 (TPT) ~ “For the same God who anointed Peter to be an apostle to the Jews also anointed me as an apostle to those who are not Jewish.”*

*David was called to serve a specific group of people and kingdom. 1 Samuel 22:2 ~ “And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.”* David trained these men to become great warriors. You are wired for your space. If you have this understanding you will not compete with others.

Know where you are called to serve better and function effectively. Others may be doing the same thing God has called you to do. We are called into partnership, the harvest is huge, but the labourers are few. *When Peter caught a large number of fish, he called partners to help (Luke 5:7).* Your vision/assignment determines your provision and the people you are to serve.*

*Prayer:Father, grant me the grace and strength to serve in my area of service in Jesus’ name, Amen.*

*A TRIGGER FOR YOUR NEXT LEVEL*

*“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” – Isaiah 1:19.*

Most times, when God is set to do something new in the life of a person it comes in the form of instructions. Obeying those instructions is what will shift you to your next level. *Obedience to God cannot be overemphasized.* Delayed obedience is rebellion. Let us look at some few examples of how obedience triggered open doors for some individuals in the Bible.

God told Abraham to go and sacrifice Isaac on mount Moriah. In summary, Abraham promptly obeyed and he enjoyed a sworn blessing. *Genesis 22:16-17 (GNT) ~ “I make a vow by my own name the Lord is speaking that I will richly bless you. Because you did this and did not keep back your only son from me, I promise that I will give you as many descendants as there are stars in the sky or grains of sand along the seashore. Your descendants will conquer their enemies.”*

Concerning the widow of Zarephath, God might have told her in prayer that, He was going to sustain her and her son in the famine season. But she had no clue as to how it was going to happen until she obeyed to feed Prophet Elijah with her little floor and oil. God will not unveil His plans further unless you are willing to obey His instructions.

Noah and his family were preserved during the flood because he obeyed God to build the ark. Do not ignore the prompting in your spirit telling you to give money to someone, sacrifice for a church project, move to another location, start that business, forgive an offender, or apply for that job, among others. Obey promptly so that you can shift into your next level of blessing.

*WHAT MEN CONSIDER WORTHLESS GOD MAKES IT WORTHY*

*“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” – 1 Corinthians 1:27, NIV.*

In Judges 11, a story is told of a mighty warrior by name Jephthah whose father was Gilead and his mother a pr******te. One day, his step siblings drove him from the house because he was the son of another woman and they did not want him to get an inheritance. There came a time, when Israel needed a commander to lead them to fight the Ammonites and guess who they turned to – Jephthah. The rejected person all of a sudden became the most important individual.

The dealings of God are different from men. Nobody is worthless before God. He makes kings out of the despised. *1 Corinthians 1:28 (TPT) ~ “He chose the lowly, the laughable in the world’s eyes—nobodies—so that he would shame the somebodies. For he chose what is regarded as insignificant in order to supersede what is regarded as prominent.”*

People might reject you today, but your content will make them look for you tomorrow. When your time comes, God will create a problem/situation that only you can solve just like the case of Joseph. *Psalm 118:22 says: “The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.”* Never despise yourself saying, nothing good can come out of you.

While Gideon saw himself as the least in his family and his clan, God saw a mighty man of valour. God addresses you by what you are meant to be and not your present situation. If a murderer (Moses) can be chosen by God to be a deliverer to the Israelites then God can do something with you. Do not belittle yourself because marred clay can be transformed into an honourable vessel by the Potter (God). You are useful to God.

*Prayer:I walk in the reality of who God has made me. I am useful and important in God’s eyes, Amen.*

*Read 2 Kings 5:1-16*

Have the conviction that Naaman did and keep going back to that river until your miracle comes. *Don’t stop just short of seeing what God promised. This word will impart some fire into your week!*

*Do you feel burnt out, but you're pushing on? Then this prophetic word for YOU!*

When I was praying I saw a vision of a high jumper. He looked worn-out, but His eyes were firmly locked on the bar he had been attempting to clear his high Jump. It was set higher than ever before. He was countless jumps in without success. He had spent every muscle to reach his goal, and arched his back to the extreme. But, *God gave this high jumper a similar instruction to the one He gave to Naaman. It was unconventional, and he knew he had to jump yet again.*

The Lord followed through with His promise to Naaman, and He will do the same for you.*He meets you at your point of despair today*

*Jump One More Time*

*“My child, jump one more time. Don’t give up! Even though you feel too weak to try again, I want you to. I will empower you to reach the goal."*

Remember, I led you here and told you to clear that jump. Just because you couldn’t do it yet, doesn’t mean My instruction is invalid. Remain focused on following My instruction, *because then, the enemy and his demons can’t do anything to you. Follow Me in obedience and you will see My plan unfold.*

*Prayer: Dear Lord, With focused Mind and with Perseverance, Let me obey you and press forward, In Jesus Name, Amen*

*GATHER THE LEFTOVERS*

*“After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, ‘Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.’” – John 6:12, NLT.*

Lack of value for things is the reason why people waste resources. For some people, any amount of leftover food must be thrown away. Others also buy new clothes or shoes all the time. Some also spend every money they receive. Without financial discipline and accountability we cannot save money. People who waste money are always in need.

The prodigal son wasted his inheritance in reckless living. *Luke 15:13-14 (NLT) says: “A few days later this younger son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living. About the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve.”*

Sometimes we do not see some level of financial blessings because of our spending habits. God does not waste His resources. Wasting resources is like a leakage in a pipe, certain amount of water is wasted. *We can also waste God’s grace. 2 Corinthians 6:1 (GNT) ~ “In our work together with God, then, we beg you who have received God's grace not to let it be wasted.”*

We waste God’s grace when we turn away from sound doctrines, God’s merciful kindness (2 Cor. 6:1, AMP) and by refusing to use our gifts/talents. Be a saver and multiplier. Jacob was a multiplier. He shepherded Laban’s flock and multiplied them. When Jacob left his father’s house he had nothing, but he returned to his family with many livestock. *Genesis 30:43 (AMP) ~ “So Jacob became exceedingly prosperous, and had large flocks [of sheep and goats], and female and male servants, and camels and donkeys.”* Avoid waste.
