Kamalapur is a village and mandal in Warangal Urban district located near Hanamkonda and Huzurabad. Kamalapur lake spreads over around 1000 acres and almost each and every household is dependent on this lake directly or indirectly. Our Village is situated surrounded with a granitic hill, rocky land on eastern side and big lake with fertile land on the west. Most of the agriculture land is situated

in north and south side of the village. Kamalapur government school was established in 1905 during Nizams, and the school has produced number of eminent persons over the time. Kamalapur is a place for multiple religions, multiple casts, temples, churches & mosques. UNITY IS OUR STRENGTH.
