Please read the description to know the brief history of the parish and the Map directions to reach Hubli Mar Thoma Church. By the grace of God they could start worship services in the year 1965 at St. Andrews' CSI Church. The first priest who led the Holy Communion was the Late Rev. Thomas of Ankola Ashram. Respected achens like Rev. Philip, Rev. K.V. Samuel, Rev. K.G. Chacko and Rev. K.J. Samuel
used to come from Ankola and Mundgod. Since 1964, the achens who gave spiritual leadership for the congregation used to come from Ankola and then since 1985, from Mundgod. Since 1994 the vicars came from Harihar where they were residing. The faithful were continually praying for a church as their own. God in His time has listened to their prayers and in the year 1997 it had been decided to construct a church as their own when Rev. V.G. Geevargheese was the vicar. As per the decision of the Edavaka Sanghom the members contributed in way of offerings, interest free loans and collected goodwill donations from well wishers and purchased a piece of land in the year 2004 when Rev. Shibu Mathew was the vicar. On December 21, 2004 the foundation stone was laid by the then Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Thomas Mar Timotheos Episcopa. The strong will of the members and the able leadership rendered by the vicars served in due time is commendable. The church and members thankfully remember the Late Mr. Raju Samuel who went abroad and collected certain amount through his relatives. The church also remember the guidance of Rev. Saju B. John, the vicar to collect funds from different churches in India and abroad. The church construction was begun in the month of April 2005 and completed the project within one year. By the grace of God on 22 May, 2006 the Church Dedication was done by the then Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa. Map Directions to reach Hubli Mar Thoma Church
