Masjid Arkam (Qadeem) , located in village Kachri, Langate district Kupwara , has stood as a house of worship and guidance for more than 100 years. This sacred mosque has been the heart of our community, where generations have prayed, learned, and found peace.
Today, the mosque is in urgent need of reconstruction. The walls that once echoed with Qur’anic recitations are weak, and the structure needs rebuilding to continue serving future generations. Our small village is not well developed, and most people here live with very limited means. Despite these challenges, the people of Kachri have united with one vision — to restore this historic mosque and preserve its legacy.
