God says, "When you pray you must have faith, perseverance, and resolution. Most people, when just beginning to train, lose heart because they fail to be moved by the Holy Spirit. This will not do! You must persevere; you must focus on feeling the moving of the Holy Spirit and on seeking and exploring. Sometimes, the path of your practice is not right, and sometimes, your personal motives and notions cannot hold fast before God, and so God’s Spirit fails to move you. At other times, God looks at whether or not you are loyal. In short, in training, you should pay a higher price."

God will help you through every storm in life and give you the strength to overcome it. If you need God's help, ✍ God, I need You!

The sun, moon, and stars were created for signs, seasons, days, and years (Genesis 1:14). They were never meant to be objects of worship or divination. When Israel fell into idolatry, one of their common sins was bowing to “the host of heaven” (2 Kings 17:16).

God warned that anyone who bowed down to created lights was guilty of turning from the Creator to the creature (Deuteronomy 4:19; Romans 1:25).

Joel 2:31: “The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.” Acts 2:20 and Revelation 6:12.

God warns His people not to be “dismayed at the signs of the heavens” (Jeremiah 10:2).

The Gospel reminds us that our salvation and hope come from the finished work of Jesus on the cross. He is the true Light of the world (John 8:12).

Psalm 121:2: “My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1
