पूरण भक्त (बाबा चौरंगीनाथ)
बाबा चौरंगी नाथ (पूरण भक्त) सिद्ध पुरुष हुए हैं। उनको योगाभ्यास एवं तप करने से मुक्ति प्राप्त हो गयी थी। उनकी आत्मा सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड में अपनी इच्छानुसार विचरती है। सच्चे मन से उनका ध्यान करने वाले की सभी मनोकामना पूरी होती है। बेरोजगारों को रोजगार मिलता है तथा सन्तान की मुराद पूरी होती है।
मेले का उत्सव
प्रतिवर्ष भाद्रपद मास की शुदी एकादशी को मन्दिर पर नया ध्वजारोहण करके मेले का श्रीगणेश किया जाता है, जो कि पूर्णमासी तक पांच दिन तक चलता है। मुख्य मेला भादो शुदी त्रयोदशी एवं चतुर्दशी (अनन्त चतुर्दशी) को होता है। इन दिनों में लाखों तीर्थयात्री मन्दिर में पूजा-अर्चना के लिए आते हैं। मेले के अवसर पर दो दिन तक कुश्ती (दंगल) तथा भण्डारे का आयोजन होता है। मेले में दुकानें, खिलौनों एवं बिसातखाने के सामान की दुकानें, झूले, रहट आदि बच्चों तथा स्त्रियों के मनोरंजन के लिए लगाये जाते हैं। मेले के अवसर पर प्रतिमा के सामने के चढ़ावे (मिठाइयां व नकदी) को पुराने पुजारी लोग ले लेते हैं। मन्दिर के नव-निर्माण, विस्तार एवं रख-रखाब हेतु मन्दिर ट्रस्ट को दानी सज्जनों से दान लेने का अधिकार सुरक्षित है। ऐसे ही मेला माघ शुदी की चतुर्दशी को भी अद्र्धवार्षिक मेले के रूप में लगता है, जो एक दिन का होता है।
The religious attitude of the Indians is evident from the number of temples which spot the country. People believe different Gods and Goddesses in India which makes the country the one of the most religious amongst many. Not only do Indians worship God, they have many idol personalities which have preached people the truth of life. These idols have acted as the guiding light for many people. One of them is Baba Chowrangi Nath. He was born with the name Puran but he later attained the name of Bhakt Puranmal. He was a great devotee and possesses immense wisdom. Bhakt Puranmal came to a place called Kasan which is located in the Gurgaon district of Haryana state. He established himself in the village and later a temple was built in this name. In colloquial language of the people of this place, this temple is also called Baba Bisah’s temple. Bisah was actually the name of a Rajput who served the temple by assisting in organising various rituals. After his death, his funeral took place in the temple itself and later a memorial was built in his name. The temple however came to be known as Baba Bisah’s temple. Kasan attracts a number of followers of Baba Bisah every year that come to worship this great idol. They are guided the correct way and learn the true human values.
