John 17:4 — “FATHER, I HAVE GLORIFIED YOU ON EARTH.”
I sat with this verse today, and it hit me differently.
Jesus was only hours away from the cross. Betrayal and suffering were ahead of Him. And His summary of His life was not about how many miracles He performed, how many crowds followed Him, or how successful He appeared.
It was about one thing:
Did My life make My Father known?
It made me ask myself a hard question:
If I had to summarize my life today in one sentence, would it be, “I glorified You”?
Not only in the big moments, but in the small ones.
In how I speak when no one is watching.
In how I forgive.
In how I love people who are difficult to love.
Glorifying God isn’t about being perfect. It’s about living in a way that, when people look at us, they see a little more of Him.
Today, my prayer is simple:
Father, let my life point back to You. 🙏
