As we took part in the wedding, we were sharing our past time experience in prayer, ministry and fellowship. We felt an overwhelming joy in our hearts. Nowadays as we notice lake of prayer, ministry and fellowship in most of the churches, we felt the pain and had the burden. So that we gathered and prayed the whole night on 17th January 2005 to bring revival in the churches, giving much importanc
e to the youth in the churches, through them bringing transformation in the churches, movements, and in our nation. We 4 friends prayed in that meeting. After that we again gathered and prayed whenever we had time. God put the burden in our hearts for the following things on 22nd January 2005.
1. We should pray for Mission ministry, church ministry and youth Ministry.
2. Making the youth with the burden for souls, to make the partners in holy living and to pursue the Devine call in their lives.
3. Raising young leaders, planting prayer cell and through them they may be strengthened.
4. God also put the burden in our hearts to help the weak, provide them education, medication, financial assistance and giving them counseling. One among us saw a golden cross as he was fasting and praying the whole day for guidance on 26th January 2005. After that God spoke through other brother “to ask the things of the future” as it is mentioned in Isaiah 45:11,
As we gathered on that hill often to pray for many things, one day we could share gospel to 10 youths from our experience. Some of them gave their lives to God. As we gathered to pray on 26th February 2005, we decided to pray on every Saturday from 10pm to 12.30am and too fast, pray on every 2nd Saturday at Sedhukkarai Hills. As we went to pray as usual on 9th April 2005, God Spoke with us through the scripture from Isaiah 43, I will do a new thing, I will be with you and do good to you. Tell me your case for you to be declared righteous. Who will hinder what I am going to do? Some more youth joined us as we had prayed on 4th June 2005, God spoke with us “All authority has been given unto me so that go” through Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15. In addition to that God spoke clearly that you should go to the unevangelized villages in the mountains, the villages where there are no basic necessities available, under privileged, economically backward areas, to meet them with the gospel through providing education, medication and social services. Empower women, youth and children and making them disciples of Jesus Christ. We made the following decision as we gathered in the hill to fast and pray on 11th June 2005.
1. Dedicating ourselves to pray and to do ministry.
2. To revive the Christians and through them evangelizing the unreached.
3. Planting Churches where there is no church.
4. Support them through those who received the vision.
5. Being supportive to churches through all means.
6. Ministering by Showing Christian love, concern, support, care and mercy to those who are oppressed, distressed and despised in the society.
7. Raising a youth team to do ministry.
8. Naming the movement using a word like Light and Brightness.
9. We 5 came forward to give offering for this ministry. As we continued to pray for naming the movement, God lead us to name it LIGHT OF GOOD NEWS MISSION. As we received information, one of us went to visit a hilly place Naikkanery. We 7 youth had the burden as the person came back and shared the tribes he saw in the Naikkanery village which is surrounded by 12 villages. We all went to see the Naikkanery field and pray on 23rd July 2005.
