Gorakhnath Mandir Gorakhpur, a small city in the northern region of Uttar Pradesh, is located very close to Kushinagar and Nepal.

गोरखनाथ मठ नाथ परंपरा के नाथ मठवासी समूह का मंदिर है, जिसकी स्थापना गुरु मत्स्येंद्रनाथ ने की थी। यह मठ उत्तर प्रदेश के गोरखपुर में स्थित है। मठ में सांस्कृतिक और सामाजिक गतिविधियां आयोजित होती हैं और यह शहर के सांस्कृतिक केंद्र के रूप में कार्य करता है।" Sitting on the shores of the River Rapti and Rohini at an elevation of 77 meters from the sea level, Gorakhpur was earlier famous as Ramgarh. It

served as the capital of the Koliyas in the ancient days. However after sometime it was named after the renowned saint Goraknath who inspired people to the fullest extent by his preaching. Today this city is visited on a large extent by the travelers. They enjoy sightseeing in this small city to the fullest. However the place that attracts them most on tours to Gorakhpur is Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री Narendra Modi जी द्वारा आज राष्ट्र के विकास को रफ्तार देतीं ₹85 हजार करोड़ से अधिक लागत की विभिन्न रेल परियोजनाओं के लोकार्पण/शिलान्यास कार्यक्रम में लखनऊ से वर्चुअल माध्यम से सहभाग किया।
इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री जी ने पटना-लखनऊ, लखनऊ-देहरादून, रांची-वाराणसी सहित देश के लिए 10 नई वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों के शुभारंभ के साथ ही गोरखपुर-लखनऊ वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन को प्रयागराज तक विस्तार प्रदान किया। देश में माल परिवहन की सुगमता हेतु डेडिकेटेड फ्रेट कॉरिडोर की माल गाड़ियों को हरी झंडी भी दिखाई।
