Sri Ammachar Amman Temple was modernised by Ex .UNION RAILWAY MINISTER "A.K.MOORTHY".It was about 5000 years old ( mentioned in RIG VEDA) and modernised before 15 years . Every year around april or may the car festival is celebrated. FREE FOOD is provided for all the people for 10 days in AMMACHAR AMMAN MARRIAGE MANDAPAM about 24 HOURS.
