हनुमान जी को राम नाम अत्यंत प्रिय है, इस संदर्भ में यह प्रसिद्ध चौपाई/दोहा सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है:

🌺 राम रामेति रामेति रमे रामे मनोरमे। सहस्रनाम तत्तुल्यं रामनाम वरानने॥🌺

अर्थ: हे सुमुखी, मैं राम नाम का जप करता रहता हूँ, जो ‘विष्णु सहस्त्रनाम’ के समान ही है।

हनुमान जी को प्रसन्न करने के लिए सबसे सरल और प्रिय उपाय ‘राम नाम’ का जाप करना ही है। मान्यता है कि जो भक्त राम का नाम लेता है, हनुमान जी उसकी रक्षा के लिए तुरंत चले आते हैं।

अर्थ : हरि अनंत हैं (उनका कोई पार नहीं पा सकता) और उनकी कथा भी अनंत है। सब संत लोग उसे बहुत प्रकार से कहते-सुनते हैं। रामचंद्र के सुंदर चरित्र करोड़ों कल्पों में भी गाए नहीं जा सकते।
