The Indian Army has issued a new rule for Agniveers stating they cannot get married until they are formally selected as permanent soldiers. Under the Agnipath scheme, Agniveers serve for four years, after which a portion is selected for permanent service.
As per the latest directive, candidates who wish to be considered for permanent roles must remain unmarried throughout the four-year term and during the selection period. If any Agniveer marries before receiving a permanent appointment, they will be deemed ineligible and excluded from the selection process. This move is reportedly aimed at maintaining discipline and clarity in the transition phase.
The Agnipath scheme, launched in 2022, aims to modernize military recruitment with short-term contracts followed by selective permanent absorption.
भारतीय सेना ने अग्निवीरों के लिए एक नया नियम जारी किया है।
नियमों के अनुसार, अग्निवीरों को स्थायी सैनिक के रूप में औपचारिक रूप से चयनित होने तक विवाह करने की अनुमति नहीं है। अग्निपथ योजना के तहत, अग्निवीर चार वर्ष तक सेवा करते हैं, जिसके बाद उनमें से कुछ को स्थायी सेवा के लिए चुना जाता है।
नवीनतम निर्देश के अनुसार, स्थायी पदों के लिए विचार किए जाने के इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों को चार वर्ष की अवधि और चयन अवधि के दौरान अविवाहित रहना होगा। यदि कोई अग्निवीर स्थायी नियुक्ति प्राप्त करने से पहले विवाह कर लेता है, तो उसे अपात्र माना जाएगा और चयन प्रक्रिया से बाहर कर दिया जाएगा। बताया जाता है कि यह कदम संक्रमणकालीन चरण में अनुशासन और स्पष्टता बनाए रखने के उद्देश्य से उठाया गया है।
वर्ष 2022 में शुरू की गई अग्निपथ योजना का उद्देश्य अल्पकालिक अनुबंधों के बाद चुनिंदा स्थायी भर्ती के माध्यम से सैन्य भर्ती को आधुनिक बनाना है।
