On the auspicious conclusion of the 10-day-long Vajra Guru Thungdrup 2026, held with immense devotion and spiritual fervor, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated and contributed to the success of this sacred event.

We are deeply honored and blessed by the gracious presence of His Eminence Rikzing Pema Ongda Dorjee, the 5th Lachen Gomchen Rinpoche, whose wisdom and compassion illuminated the entire puja. The initiation bestowed by His Eminence on 18th March 2016 remains a profound source of blessings and spiritual inspiration for all devotees.

Over these ten days, the sacred prayers, rituals, and collective aspirations have generated immense merit for the well-being of all sentient beings, the removal of obstacles, and the flourishing of peace and harmony in the world.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This is to inform all monks, nuns, devotees, and well-wishers that on the auspicious occasion of Vajra Guru Thungdrup 2026 at Karma Thubden Tashi Chokorling, Phodong Monastery.
His Eminence Rikzing Pema Ongda Dorjee, the 5th Lachen Gomchen Rinpoche,
will graciously grace the sacred occasion and bestow the precious initiation of Rikzing Tsewang on 18th March 2026.
All monks, nuns, devotees, and well-wishers are warmly welcomed to attend this auspicious ceremony and receive the sacred blessings.

Rikzing Tsewang:-
Rikzing Tsewang is a sacred empowerment and long-life blessing associated with Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche). The term Rikzing refers to “Vidyadhara” or the “Holder of the Awareness Lineage,” while Tsewang means the empowerment of long life and vitality. This initiation is believed to bestow blessings for longevity, protection from obstacles, spiritual merit, and the strengthening of wisdom and compassion. In the Vajrayana Buddhist tradition, receiving the Rikzing Tsewang empowerment from a qualified spiritual master is considered highly auspicious. It connects the disciple to the profound blessings and lineage of Guru Padmasambhava and the accomplished masters who preserved and transmitted these teachings through generations.
Therefore, devotees are encouraged to participate with faith and devotion to receive the blessings and accumulate great merit for the benefit of all sentient beings.
Your presence will greatly contribute to the sanctity and success of this sacred occasion.
