Hazrat Khwajah Haji Muhammad Najmuddin Sulaimani Chishti Al-Farooqui As-Saeedi R.A. was born on the 3rd Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 1234 Hijri (1819 A.D.) in the house of Hazrat Shaikh Ahmed Baksh Naqshbandi Al Farooqui of Jhunjhunu city, who was himself a great scholar of the Sufism and among the great Saints of his time. Hazrat Shaikh Ahmed Baksh Naqshbandi Al Farooqui was fore taught by the Great Almighty that he will have a son named Najmuddin would be a Borne Wali and Ghaus of his time. One day while reading the book “Anees-Ul-A’arifeen” he read the speaking of Khwajah Habeebullah Quadri that, “Malla Shaikha Lahu Fa Shaikha Hus-Shaitan” that means one who had no Shaikh (Spiritual God Father), has the Iblees (Shaitan) as his Shaikh. After reading this Huzoor Najam Sarkar became very anxious and eager to find an appropriate Shaikh for himself. So in the Hijri 1252, during the Urs of Hazrat Khwajah GareebNawaz R.A., he reached at the holy shrine of the Khwajah-e-Buzurg and asked Hazrat Khwajah GareebNawaz R.A. for the Shaikh for himself, and got the direction from the Khwajah to reach Nagaur at the holy shrine of his great grandfather Hazrat Khwajah Sufi Hameeduddin Nagauri R.A. to get the direction about the Shaikh. So Khwajah Huzoor Najam Sarkar R.A reached at Nagaur and requested his great grandfather for the purpose. Hazrat Khwajah Sufi Hameeduddin Nagauri R.A. told him, “There is no Shaikh of the Level you want and deserve but the one in the Holy city of Taunsaa*, along the coast of river Sangarh in Punjab. (Now in Pakistan), named Khwajah Shah Muhammad Suleiman Taunsvi R.A. You should go there I will tell him your desire and force him to consider your matter. Bai’at & Khilafat
As Huzoor Najam Sarkar R.A got the instructions from His great grandfather He reached at the city of Taunsaa on 10th of the month Shaabaan-ul-Mukarram Hijri 1253 at the time of Ishraque. On the same day i.e. 10th of Shaabaan-ul-Mukarram Hijri 1253 after the Namaz of Isha’a Hazrat Khwajah Shah Muhammad Sulaiman Taunsvi Chishti R.A made Hazrat Khwajah Haji Muhammad Najmuddin Sulaimani Chishti R.A his disciple (Mureed) in the Silsilah e Chishtiah Nizamiah Fakhriah and grant permission for some Aurado Wazaaef and told him stay there for sometime. After staying about six months there, on 6th of Muharramul Haraam at the Holy shrine of Khwajah Fareeduddin GanjShakr R.A. on the occasion of Urs of this Great Sufi Saint Hazrat Khwajah Shah Muhammad Sulaiman Taunsvi Chishti R.A. gave the permission (Khilafat) of all of the four great Silsilah of Sufism i.e. the Quadriyah, the Chishtiyah, the Naqushbandiah, & the Suharvardiyah to Huzoor Najam Sirkar R.A and gave Wilayat of the province of Rajputana presently famed as Rajasthan, and ordered to settle at Fatehpur Shekhawati. In the beginning, Huzoor Najam Sarkar R.A reached at Fatehpur, traveling via Jodhpur & Nagaur, reside at the mosque of Mohalla Maemaran and get busy in the pray of the God Almighty, but after getting disturb by the visitors he shifted in the jungle in the south of Fatehpur where the present Dargah is located. After residing at Fatehpur he had a fixed schedule to spent six month in his Murshid’s company at Taunsaa and remaining six month in the preaching people the right path of truth and salvation. till the Hijri 1267, 7th of Safar. The date of the pardah of Khwajah Shah Muhammad Suleiman Taunsvi Chishti R.A. At the time of the pardah, he was with his Murshid and get all the “Raaz-o-Niaz “and Faiz from him. He wrote several books to guide mankind the right path, in all languages like Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Hindi. He was a Poet of great thoughts. He wrote many poems to pay regards to Holy Prophet, All Caliphs, Many Buzurg of Silsilah but most of the poems (Manaquib) in the fame of his Murshid Hazrat Khwajah Shah Muhammad Suleiman Taunsvi Chishti R.A. He had more than forty Caliphs of himself across the country to preach the teachings of Sufism. He established his Khankah in the southern forest outside the city of Fatehpur. On the Early morning (Subha Saadique) of 19th of the holy month of Ramadan ul Mubarak on Monday Hazrat Khwajah Haji Muhammad Najmuddin Sulaimani Chishti R.A took pardah from this mortal world towards his Beloved God. He granted all his spiritual knowledge & power to his elder son Hazrat Khwajah Muhammed Naseeruddeen Chishti Najmi Sulaimani R.A. and made him first Sajjada Nashin (of his Dargah. Since the date this tradition is continued and at present Hazrat Peer Ghulam Naseer Najmi Sulaimani is the Sajjada Nashin & Mutawalli (Manager and Caretaker) of the Dargah.
