St.Thomas Church Clamattom is a Chapel (Kurishupalli) under St.Mary's Church,Vettimukal.It was a great dream of the parishioners of St.Mary's Church,Vettimukal residing at the Northern area of the parish to construct a chapel at Clamattom for the religious and sacramental activities. The idea of construct a chapel at Clamattam was put forward by Fr. Thomas Kottaram, the vicar of the parish. The la

nd for the construction of the chapel was donated by Sri. Mathew Kuruppanthettu and his wife Smt. Aleyamma. The foundation stone of the chapel was blessed by Mar. Antony Padiyara, the Archbishop of Changanacherry in December 09, 1983 and the chapel was blessed on Hosanna day on March 1985. Thomas day and the feast of St. Thomas is being celebrated at Clamattom since then.Now the church is 31 years old & having the co-operation of 120+ families.
