By the grace of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Maa and Swamiji Maharaj, the Flood Relief Work undertaken by us at Sivasagar and Charaideo districts were successfully concluded on 31st August 2026.
During the first phase, i.e., from 27 July to 29 July 2026, 1005 families were provided with ration kits comprising dry rations so as to support each family for about 7 to 10 days.
During the second phase, from 30 August to 31st August 2026, one dozen (12) corrugated GI sheets (12 ft. long) were provided to each family for rebuilding their home. One hundred such affected famlies were provided the one-time suppot - 45 families in Sivasagar and 55 in Charaideo districts.

By the grace of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Maa and Swamiji Maharaj, the 80th Independence Day was observed with due dignity and solemnity at our ashrama.
The National Tricolour was hoisted at 8:00 a.m., in the presence of the pupils of our Maa Sarada Kindergarten and their parents, members of Vivekananda Yoga Kendra and devotees assembled on the occasion, followed by a programme, conducted with the participation of all present on the occasion.

By the grace of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Maa and Swamiji Maharaj, we were blessed with the opportunity to celebrate Sri Guru Purnima yesterday, 29th July 2026, at our ashrama.
A considerable number of devotees came to the temple to attend the Special Puja in the morning, and Cooked Prasada was served to about 450 devotees in the afternoon.
In the evening, about sixty devotees attended the Aratrikam of Sri Sri Thakur, which was followed by singing of devotional songs and a discourse on the significance of Sri Guru Purnima.

Consequent to the sudden flood in Upper Assam, Flood Relief Service has been undertaken by Ramakrishna Mission, Dibrugarh, in Sivasagar district. A great area of the district has been inundated, and our monks and volunteers are wholeheartedly dedicating themselves in the service. Tens of thousands of people have been affected by the flood. we are trying to reach out to the affected people at two places today, in spite of the unprecedented and devastating degree of the calamity.

We request our devotees and friends to stand by us and help us in serving the Nara-Narayana in this time of abject distress.

By the grace of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Maa and Swamiji Maharaj, the 12th International Yoga Day was observed at our Ashrama on 21st June 2026.
The programme was organised by the students/participants of our Vivekananda Yoga Kendra, from 9:15 AM onwards. Dr. Pranay Phukan, the renowned poet and professor of Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, was the chief guest. Devotees and volunteers of our Ashrama attended the programme, too.
The organisers arranged refreshment for everyone (about 80 persons in attendance) after the conclusion of the programme.
