Ashok Buddha Vihar Management Trust (ABVMT) regrets to inform all devotees participating in the Buddha Puja on 29 July 2026 that, due to KYC-related issues with the Trust's bank account, ABVMT is currently unable to make the necessary arrangements for lunch.

Accordingly, all devotees are kindly requested to bring their own lunch for the event. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

CIRCULAR FOR BUDDHA PUJA /VARSHAVASSA 2026

Esteemed Devotees,

On behalf of the Ashok Buddha Vihar Management Trust (ABVMT), we are pleased to inform all devotees and well-wishers in Delhi-NCR that Buddha Puja will be observed on the auspicious occasion of Varsha-vassa (Rains Retreat) on 29 July 2026 (Wednesday) at Ashok Buddha Vihar, Rajghat, New Delhi from 9:00 a.m. onwards.

Devotees are informed that the Bank Account of the Ashok Buddha Vihar Management Trust (ABVMT) is presently non-operational due to the pending completion of KYC formalities as some of the Trustees are currently out of station. Consequently, the Trust is temporarily unable to receive donations through its bank account.

In view of this situation, the Trust has decided to organize this year’s Buddha Puja on a modest scale. Accordingly, lunch will not be arranged for the participating devotees and all devotees are kindly requested to bring their own lunch. The Trust will arrange only the Siyong (offering of meals) for the Ven. Bhikkhu.

Therefore, devotees are requested not to deposit any donations into the ABVMT Bank Account until further notice.

However, those who wish to make voluntary contributions towards the organization of the Buddha Puja and the Siyong for the Ven. Bhikkhu may kindly contribute to the bank account of our Bhante, the details of which are provided below:
