This Pentecost Sunday, we celebrate the breath of God filling His church. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, our Guide, and the deep source of our strength in every season of life. Today we celebrate Pentecost, the beautiful moment the Holy Spirit descended and ignited a fire that birthed the Church. This isn't just an ancient event; it’s a powerful reminder that God's Spirit is alive and dwelling within us right now. Let’s open our hearts today to be refreshed and empowered. May the same Spirit that filled the upper room give us the boldness to share His incredible love, fueling us with His grace and power for the week ahead!

Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Genesis: The Beginning, marked the start for the Inauguration of Pravarthana Varsham 2026–27, on 17th May, 2026 followed by the Holy qurbana under the guidance and blessings of our Church Vicars, Rev. Fr. Pathrose Joy and Rev. Fr. Geevarghese Jose.

The programme began with a prayer song and ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing a blessed new journey ahead. Our esteemed Guest of Honour, Mr. V. K. Kuriakose, addressed the gathering with inspiring words, after which the heads of various organizations presented the activities planned for the upcoming year. The event beautifully reflected faith, unity, and the spirit of service as we stepped into a new Pravarthana year. 🤍

The Feast of the Ascension, or Swargarohana Perunnal, celebrates the glorious ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ into heaven on the fortieth day after His Resurrection. As Christ ascended in glory, He left us with hope, faith, and the promise of His eternal presence. May this blessed feast strengthen our hearts to live as faithful witnesses of His love and truth.

The Feast of Saint John the Apostle and Evangelist, celebrated after easter, honors the beloved disciple of christ called from humble beginnings as a fisherman in Galilee to become profound witness of divine love. John's closeness to jesus, seen in moments like the last supper and the foot of the cross, reflects a life of purity, loyality, and deep spiritual insight. Exiled to Patmos, he recieved and recorded the revelation, offering the church a vision of christ ultimate victory. As the gospel of John proclaims, '' In the beginning was the word, and the word was with god, and the word was God'' ( John 1:1), reminding us that the word made flesh still dwells among us, calling us into communion with him. Like Saint John, may we live with unwavering faith, listen closely to the heart of christ, and boldly proclaims the gospel of love.
