The shrine church serves also as the parish church for the catholic community in the Archdiocese of Delhi. Within the church exists the shrine chapel of Our Lady of Health of Okhla which is attended by many devotees of Mother Mary everyday for prayer and intercession. Many worshippers, pilgrims and visitors find the Shrine of great comfort and peace as they come for themselves or for their loved o
nes. The Shrine of Our Lady exists to bring everyone to an encounter with Christ to experience healing of mind, body and spirit to grow in His love, and to go forth sharing the Good News of God’s love and forgiveness to all who receive him in faith. In the church we regularly gather to worship our Almighty God, to learn from him through his Word, to encounter God’s presence with us and allow him to minister to us by his Spirit in the celebration of sacraments. Irrespective of who we are, we believe that all of us are God’s children who are transformed by his love as we seek to follow Jesus Christ as Lord.
