Almost every young person struggles with these questions!
**What if my prayers aren't answered?**
**Response:** Has anyone, be it a jinn, angel, or God Himself, ever told you that your prayer wasn't accepted? Often, we assume our prayers go unanswered, but acceptance doesn't always happen in the way we expect. There are different outcomes:
1. **Immediate Acceptance:** Sometimes, we receive exactly what we ask for, depending on Allah's will and our sincerity.
2. **Divine Wisdom:** Allah might not grant what we ask for because it may not be good for us. For example, praying for a son but receiving a daughter because that's better in Allah's knowledge.
3. **Reward in the Hereafter:** Sometimes, our prayers are stored as rewards in the Hereafter.
4. **Obstacles:** Lack of proper etiquette, sincerity, or persistence in sin can delay acceptance.
**Can we get tired of being patient?**
**Response:** Patience means staying strong in tough times, not giving up, and continuing with resolve, no matter how difficult the situation.
**Is it within a person's control not to lose hope?**
**Response:** Avoiding despair is possible by accepting Allah's will. Despair often comes when we see our desires as rights, and when they aren't fulfilled, we lose hope. But Islam teaches us to be content with whatever Allah has given us, trusting in His wisdom.
**Why doesn't Allah do everything for us if He loves us more than seventy mothers?**
**Response:** Allah is all-powerful, but also all-wise. Just as a doctor knows the right time to perform surgery, Allah knows when and how to act for our benefit. Trust in His wisdom and don't let these questions become an obsession. Reflect on the answers, and you'll find peace.
