The finale of the Mountain series culminated in a deeper understanding of the series in its entirety through a Q&A session that explored subjects ranging from authority and purity to valuing the Word of God. Insights on the “Law” being given on the mountain brought greater revelations on expecting God to release a Word.

“You knowing who you are is what makes you an authoritarian”. Identity in Christ is the confidence, purpose, and power. Unlike worldly authority, the authority given through Christ is established in love and freedom. Fruitfulness and multiplication become evident when the power given by God is recognized and exercised in faith.

There is a dangerous trap of familiarity in times of abundance of the Word and proximity of the Presence. Jesus preached to thousands, healed many, and taught the disciples in close proximity, yet only Mary was found at His tomb. Mary and Martha reveal the difference between valuing the Word and becoming familiar with it. While Martha remained occupied with hosting, Mary chose to sit at the feet of Jesus and learn from Him.

Purity is both a position given by God and a responsibility maintained through personal choice. Holiness becomes a joyful expression of spiritual maturity through the Word and dependence on the Holy Spirit.

(Isaiah 2:1–2)states about people flowing to the mountain of God. For what? So that God may teach His ways to us, where His paths are revealed and His “Word” is given. Out of the Zion, comes the “Word”.Going to the mountain is not merely an option but a way of life. The Word is given on the mountain, and the fear of the Lord comes in. “Word that comes on Jerusalem, will take you to New Jerusalem”. Going up to the Mountain of God is never without an expectation for God to release a Word-the Word that transforms us and prepares us for the New Jerusalem.

A truly delightful celebration service, filled with honour, love, and thanksgiving as we celebrated our spiritual mother on Mother’s Day and reflected on the overflowing grace of God upon our lives during our beloved pastor’s birthday week.

|Sermon excerpt| |Jijin Mathew | |The Highest Mountain|

Confidence that grows as Christ retrun draws near:
The nearer His return draws, the more our love for Him should increase.
We did not accept Jesus merely to escape judgment, but as we live in God, His love is perfected in us, and we stand confident on the Day of Judgment as we face Him face to face. ( 1 John 4:17)

Hidden in Christ, Above the World:
We live this way by keeping our lives hidden in Christ, saying no to the world and yes to Him.
For the pleasure found in Christ is far beyond the temporary pleasures of this world.
Therefore, set your minds on things above where christ is seated at the right hand of God (Colossians 3:2)

The Highest mountain:
In a world surrounded by fear, sin, temptation, anxiety, lack, and human struggle, God reveals a higher mountain, His mountain.
The mountain of His presence stands above every lesser mountain, and in His presence every other mountain loses its authority over our lives.

The call to ascend:
Continuing the journey from “Who may ascend the hill of the Lord?”, this message reveals that purity of heart is not merely for religion, but an invitation into revelation.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” — Matthew 5:8
Jesus did not remain among the crowds. He ascended the mountain and called the multitudes upward. The mountain becomes the place of transformation, revelation, authority, and vision.

When Christ becomes your highest Pursuit:
When Christ becomes your highest pursuit, every lower desire begins to lose its grip.
He did not call you to remain in the valley and hear Him from a distance. He called you to stand with Him on the mountain. (Isaiah 2:2–3)

Step into the mountain of God this week and discover what it means to see Him rightly, live above lesser mountains, and walk in the authority of His presence.

A memorable evening etched in our hearts, as we came together to celebrate our Spiritual father. We had the honor of receiving powerful word. The evening was filled with heartfelt testimonies of God’s goodness, transformation, upliftment, and divine breakthroughs in the lives of many, all made possible through the selfless sacrifices, unwavering obedience, and fatherly love of the one sent to guide us.

A beautiful worship session ushered us into the beautiful presence of God and we had the privilege of learning from our spiritual father through a deeply enriching Q&A session, where he shared wisdom from his own life journey, equipping us to stay ahead of time and navigate life according to God’s will. His words especially strengthened and encouraged the young members of the church, giving clarity, direction, and a godly perspective for the seasons ahead. The evening was further sealed with a powerful word of blessing released over every life and family present.

It was truly a beautiful moment of gratitude and honor, glorifying God for knitting this family together through one man’s “yes” to His call and his relentless passion for building and serving the Kingdom of God.

We remain deeply grateful to be beneficiaries of his grace, leadership, and covering.

On this special day, we honor and celebrate the grace of God upon our lives through our beloved spiritual father, our visionary, leader, and inspiration, Pastor Jijin Mathew.

Your life of commitment and zeal for Jesus, your compassion for people, and your faithfulness in carrying the Great Commission with the heart of a true father have broken barriers, restored broken hearts, transformed lives, and brought hope to lost souls, raising them as Jesus lovers, who have come to delight in the love of Christ. Wherever we stand today, whatever condition our spirit and soul may be in, is because of the deposit of the Word of God within us. His Word transforms us.We must remain conscious of what the Word has done in us and escape familiarity.“The Presence can do nothing for you unless you desire the Presence to do something within you.”God honors His Beloved’s invitation (Revelation 3:20). He honors those who open the door, watch for His coming, and listen for His voice. Intimacy is found in invitation, and the deposit of the Word happens when the door is opened to Him. Do not be occupied with fixing yourself or trying to impress God so much that you miss what He came to give. Martha was busy with many things, but Mary longed for the Word.“What delights God is not your performance, but your readiness to receive the Word He prepares for you.”
God brings purification through His Presence. Purity helps us survive on the mountain. (Psalm 24:3-4) Jesus taught us to purify both heart and hands-our motives and actions. On the mountain, God reveals us to ourselves. When conviction comes, embrace it and allow yourself to be transformed.“What God accomplishes in you on the mountain will transform the valleys below.” (Exodus 17)
Moses stood on the mountain while the battle raged in the valley, because victory is decided in Presence. Moses stood with authority on the mountain and Joshua with strength in the valley. Even Moses needed Aaron and Hur to hold up his hands. What appears to be retreat is often prayer and waiting before God. Even on the mountain, weariness comes.“You do not simply need prayer; you need people who will help you pray.” Do life together. Refuse isolation. (Ecclesiastes 4:9–12) When we stand together on the mountain, what God accomplishes there will produce good fruit in the valley below.

Invitation to come to the mountain is a call to draw closer to God, to know and encounter Him in greater measure. Often, we get familiar with God’s work, forgetting that He has called us to be like Him, to be built into the image of Jesus. Faith pleases God, but fear often holds us back. Like the disciples in the storm, we believe that Jesus can calm the storms, but struggle to believe that when I speak it will happen. God has called us to be the cedars of the lebanon, Generals of God and that journey begins with climbing up to the mountain of God.

The mountain may not be an easy place, but with God it is different, it is a place of joy, serenity, and peace in His presence. Just by being there, one is filled with abundant joy. The Innermost Chamber of God, once accessible to only a few (Exodus 24:2), has now been made available to us through Jesus. There is no more separation between us and God.

With faith, we don’t strive, we thrive. God rewards those who diligently seek Him. Look at Moses, full of zeal, yet unaware of God’s ways until he encountered Him. In that place, God revealed his purpose and destiny. He continued in faith even without visible results. True faith persists beyond what is seen. Many heroes of faith held on, even when they could not see the promise (Hebrews 11). When we are near God, He reveals our destiny and shows us the way forward.

In this season, guard yourselves from voices of doubt and discouragement. Your validation comes from God alone. Stay rooted in His presence and His Word.
You are chosen, precious, and called to go higher.

Did you know Adam and Eve never wanted to be separated from God? It was deception that separated them. Deception fuels temptation. The shame and guilt they felt after they sinned showed that they never wanted to be away from God and that is what distinguishes God’s children from the devil, who never felt guilt after he sinned.Shame and guilt can separate us from God. But God wants us to lay down that weight. He does not delight in sin, yet He does not condemn us. The moment you are honest with God about your struggle, you begin to defeat sin and shame.
The need to perform comes from fear or from trying to earn love. Neither is required when we place our hope in God and guard it. Deception causes hope to leak. When we stop feeling excited about God, when we once ran well but no longer look forward, unsure how to continue that is when hope begins to leak.If our hope leaks, we may begin to doubt and even become our own scoffers. But remember today: you have Someone to place your hope in. When you put your hope in Jesus, your life cannot remain the same.
Hope frees you from guilt, shame, and doubt. It restores expectation. Even after years, you will remain excited for Him, just like day one.Deception is at the door, but God is restoring hope, peace, and faith. When you hope in Him, everything He has spoken comes alive in your life. Not because you performed perfectly, but because you guarded your hope.In Jesus, you are already forgiven. You are not walking toward forgiveness, but walking from a place of forgiveness.

You shall not chase forgiveness.
You are forgiven.
Your shame cannot drive you anymore.
You are free.
You have purpose.
You have hope.
You have a future.
Because Jesus secured it for you.
Jesus pursued the one. Jesus is pursuing you.
