Our last OCYM meeting was blessed by the gracious presence of our beloved Thirumeni, H.G. Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, Metropolitan of the Delhi Diocese.

Thirumeni led us through a meaningful study session on the Feast of Transfiguration, inviting us to look beyond and reflect on two profound questions: β€œWhere have we come from?” and β€œWhere are we leading to?”

The session was a beautiful reminder that our Christian journey is not merely about where we stand today, but about constantly being transformed in Christ and moving towards the glory to which He calls us.

We are deeply grateful to Thirumeni for his time, guidance, and words of wisdom, which continue to inspire us in our journey of faith.

πŸ™English Holy QurbanaπŸ™
After a long break, it was a blessing for our parish to once again conduct the English Holy Qurbana using our newly introduced Holy Anaphora Book published by the SGOCYM. The service brought together members of all ages in a spirit of worship and reflection, allowing many to participate more meaningfully in the Holy Qurbana. It was especially encouraging to see the enthusiasm of the Sunday school kids as well as our older generation as they engaged with the prayers and responses, gaining a deeper understanding of the richness of our Orthodox faith. This occasion served as a beautiful reminder that while languages may differ, the essence of our worship remains unchanged, drawing us closer to God and to one another in faith.

In response to the recent unfortunate events in Matiala, SGOCYM, under the guidance of our church vicar and assistant vicar, joined hands with the parish to support the affected families by distributing food kits.

This small initiative reflected our compassion, unity, and faith β€” reminding everyone that they are not alone in difficult times.
