On this auspicious morning, the sacred Guru Tse-Tsu Puja of Guru Padmasambhava was performed in the presence of His Eminence Khöndung Asanga Vajra Rinpoche along with the Venerable Khenpo Palden Sangpo and all the respected monks of the monastery.
Through these prayers and offerings, the merit is dedicated to the peace, happiness, and liberation of all sentient beings.

After spending around ten months carrying out Dharma activities abroad, His Eminence Dungsay Asanga Vajra Rinpoche was warmly received at Bagdogra Airport. He was welcomed by Khen Rinpoche Palden Sangpo, Director Thupten Tashi, Lopen Thupten Choedak Aprehs along with Khenpos from various monasteries and devoted followers, with great joy and devotion.They offered ceremonial scarves and escorted him to the monastery.

As we welcome the auspicious Fire Male Horse Year, may this New Year bring peace, happiness, prosperity, and spiritual accomplishment to all beings.

On the first day of Losar, the sacred Lhabsang (Lapsang) Puja was performed to purify obstacles and negative energies, inviting harmony and good fortune. Prayer flags (Lungdhar) were raised, sending prayers and blessings across the skies for the benefit of all sentient beings.

On the 29th day of the lunar calendar, the special Tordok (Thorgyak) Torma Throwing Ceremony has been performed as part of the Great Annual Ritual of Maha Vajrakilaya Torma Offering.

This profound and symbolic ceremony signifies the expulsion of obstacles, negativities, harmful forces, and accumulated obscurations. Through the blessings of the Vajra Master and the Sangha, all adverse conditions are cast away, creating space for peace, protection, long life, prosperity, and spiritual growth.

The Great Annual Ritual of Maha Vajrakilaya Torma Offering puja (Phurdok) will be conducted at Guru Sakya Monastery in the presence of Vajra Master Thupten Choedak La and the Sangha of the monastery from 13th February to 17th February 2026, spanning five sacred days.


This sacred ritual is dedicated to the elimination of obstacles, purification of sickness, negative thoughts, and obscurations throughoutthe year . It is also performed for the long life and prosperity of all the Root Gurus, whose wisdom and compassion guide us on the path. Through the blessings of Maha Vajrakilaya, the ritual aims to bring well-being, peace, happiness, protection, and success to individuals, families, and all sentient beings.
