Paramahansanatha This Temple is a historical master piece built by Gajapati King Sri Prataprudra Dev, Of Suryavansa During the Year 1497 to 1533 AD

As per history of orissa Gajapati King Sri Sri Prataprudra Dev got his birth at Paramahansa when his mother Rani Padmabati Devi (Of Kanchi) and Gajapati King Sri Sri Purusottam Dev was worshiping Paramahansanath. There is also legend that Prataparudra Dev was the blessing of Rudra God (Paramahansa) So his father Gajapati King Purusottama Dev was named new born as Pratap (Prave) Rudra (Shiva) which

was affixed for sweet hearing Upon the advice of Raj Sabha.. Pratap Rudra Dev built the existing temole during his reign (1497-1533 AD)
