How Dare You, David!”
When I read about David and Goliath, one question always rises in my heart — “How dare you, David!”
How did this young shepherd boy have such courage when the entire army of Israel trembled before Goliath? The soldiers had weapons, experience, and strength — but David had something far greater: the anointing of God.
Before David faced Goliath in 1 Samuel 17, he had already passed through 1 Samuel 16, where God anointed him as king. That anointing was not just oil on his head — it was power in his spirit, faith in his heart, and courage in his soul.
That is why he could stand before a giant without fear.
Because he knew — “The God who called me is greater than the enemy before me.”
Church, when you face your Goliath — your fear, your sickness, your challenges — remember this truth:
God has already chosen and anointed you. You are not standing alone in that battlefield.
Sometimes God will give you victory with one stone like David…
But many times, He will give you the strength to fight, the faith to endure, and the grace to stand firm until your Goliath falls.
So don’t fear the giant before you — fear the God who stands behind you.
Your victory is not in your weapon, it’s in your anointing.
Your confidence is not in your skill, it’s in your calling.
And your strength is not in your size, it’s in your Savior.
🔥 Be strong, be bold, for the Lord who chose you is greater than anything that stands against you!
> “The battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
— 1 Samuel 17:47
