We believe in God. (Revelation 22:13)

JESUS

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only begotten Son of God. He is Himself God incarnate. In Him the fullness of the Godhead is revealed to man. There

fore, He is truly God the Son. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23

We believe that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin and conceived by the Holy Spirit. He lived a sinless life, worked miracles, provided for the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the cross, after three days and three nights in the grave was physically raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit, ministered to and commissioned His disciples, ascended bodily back to the right hand of the Father and ever lives to make intercession for us. (Matthew 1:23, Isaiah 7:14, 1 Peter 2:21-22, Hebrews 7:26-27, Acts 2:22, 2 Corinth 5:20-21, 1 Corinth 15 3-4, Acts 1:2-11, Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 8:34, Hebrews 7:25)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Savior. He is the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6)

We believe that any and all who reject Jesus as both Lord and Christ have no possibility of acceptance by God the Father. (1 John 2:22-23)
We believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh as both God and man. He never ceased being God and yet in His humanity was fully man. (Philippians 2:5–11)


THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that after Jesus ascended to heaven (1) He poured out His Holy Spirit upon the believers: His Church, at which time they were empowered to live a godly life and fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world, a privilege shared by all believers today. (Acts 2: 8-24)
We believe in the present work of the Holy Spirit in the world today. Jesus said: “when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.” (John 16:7-8)
We Believe the Holy Spirit works in regeneration, sealing the believer unto the day of redemption, teaching, empowering for service and guiding the believer into maturity and fruitfulness. (Titus 3:5, Ephesians 1:13–14, 1 John 2:27, Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:22–25)
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their operation in the Church today. We believe the purpose of these gifts is to edify the body of Christ: His Church, to equip us for the ministry and above all to glorify Christ. We believe these gifts are to be disciplined as prescribed by the scriptures, should never be used to draw attention to or to glorify man, should be practiced in a decent and orderly fashion, and must always be operational in a spirit of love. (1 Corinthians 12, 13, 14)
We believe that salvation is offered by grace through faith alone. Salvation is not of ourselves, it is a gift of God, not granted by any human merit or offering of good works. Any offering of salvation granted by human achievement, be it all or in part, is not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and should be rejected as heresy. (Ephesians 2 8-9, Galatians 1:3-9, Galatians 2:16-3:14)

நீ என் பார்வைக்கு அருமையானபடியினால் கனம்பெற்றாய்; நானும் உன்னைச் சிநேகித்தேன், ஆதலால் உனக்குப் பதிலாக மனுஷர்களையும், உன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக ஜனங்களையும்கொடுப்பேன். - (ஏசாயா 43:4).

ஒருபோதகர் ஒரு 500 ரூபாய் நோட்டு ஒன்றை எடுத்து, தன் சபையில் உள்ளவர்களை பார்த்து, 'யாருக்கு இந்த பணம் வேண்டும்' என்று கேட்டார். 'இதை உங்களில் யாருக்காவது ஒருவருக்கு கொடுக்க போகிறேன், ஆனால் அதற்கு முன் நான் ஒன்று செய்ய போகிறேன்' என்றார்.


சபை மக்களெல்லாரும் ஆவலோடு அவரை பார்த்து கொண்டிருக்க, அவர் அந்த நோட்டை எடுத்து, கசக்கிவிட்டு, 'இன்னும் யாருக்காவது இந்த நோட்டு வேண்டுமா' என்று கேட்டார். அப்போதும் மக்கள் கைகளை உயர்த்தினார்கள். அப்போது, அவர் அந்த நோட்டை தன் கால்களில் உள்ள செருப்பால் அதை மிதித்து, அழுக்காக்கி, அதை கசக்கி 'இன்னும் யாருக்காவது இந்த நோட்டு வேண்டுமா' என்று கேட்டார். அப்போதும் மக்கள் கைகளை உயர்த்தினார்கள்.


அப்போது அவர் தன் சபை மக்களை நோக்கி, 'என் அருமை கர்த்துருடைய ஜனமே, இன்று ஒரு நல்ல பாடத்தை கற்று கொண்டீர்கள். இந்த 500 ரூபாய் நோட்டு எத்தனை அழுக்கானாலும் அது தன்னுடைய மதிப்பை இழக்கவில்லை. அது எத்தனை கசக்கப்பட்டாலும் அது 500 ரூபாய் மதிப்பானதே. அது அழுக்கானதினால், அதன் மதிப்பு ஒரு நாளும் குறைந்து போக போவதில்லை.


நம் வாழ்விலும், நாம் எத்தனை அழுக்கானவர்களாயிருந்தாலும், நம்முடைய சூழ்நிலைகளினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தாலும், நாம் ஒருவருக்கும் பிரயோஜனமில்லாதவர்கள், நாம் மதிக்கப்பட தகுதியற்றவர்கள் என்று நம்மை நாமே தாழ்த்தி கொண்டாலும், கர்த்தருடைய பார்வையில் நாம் என்றும் கனம் பெற்றவர்களே! நாம் அழுக்கானவர்களாயிருந்தாலும் கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்துவின் விலையேறப்பெற்ற இரத்தத்தினால் கழுவப்பட்டிருந்தால், நாமும் கர்த்தருடைய பார்வையில் மிகவும் விலையேறப்பெற்றவர்களே!' என்று கூறினார்.


ஆம்! 'வழக்காடுவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; உங்கள் பாவங்கள் சிவேரென்றிருந்தாலும் உறைந்த மழையைப்போல் வெண்மையாகும்; அவைகள் இரத்தாம்பரச்சிவப்பாயிருந்தாலும் பஞ்சைப்போலாகும்'. - (ஏசாயா1:18) அப்படி நம் பாவங்கள் சிவப்பானதாக, அல்லது இரத்தாம்பர சிவப்பாயிருந்தாலும், கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மாசற்ற, விலைமதிப்பற்ற இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படும்போது, அது உறைந்த பனியைப்போலவும், பஞ்சைப்போலவும் ஆகும். அப்படி கழுவப்பட்ட நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் கர்த்தருடைய பார்வையில் விலையேறப்பெற்றவர்கள்!


அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் நம்மை பார்த்து சொல்வார், 'நீ என் பார்வைக்கு அருமையானபடியினால் கனம்பெற்றாய்; நானும் உன்னைச் சிநேகித்தேன், ஆதலால் உனக்குப் பதிலாக மனுஷர்களையும், உன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக ஜனங்களையும்கொடுப்பேன்' என்று. அந்த 500 ரூபாய் நோட்டு எத்தனை அழுக்காயிருந்தாலும், அதன் மதிப்பு எப்படி குறையாதோ, அதைப்போல நாம் எப்பேற்ப்பட்ட பாவிகளாயிருந்தாலும், நம்முடைய ஆத்துமா விலையேறப்பெற்றதாயிருக்கிறபடியால், அதற்காக தம்முடைய சொந்த இரத்தத்தையே சிந்தி நம்மை விலைகிரயம் கொடுத்து, சத்துருவின் அந்தகார பிடியில் இருந்த நம்மை விடுதலையாக்கி அவருடைய இராஜ்ஜியத்தில் நம்மை சேர்த்த நமது இராஜாதி இராஜாவாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவுக்கே எல்லா மகிமையும் கனமும் உண்டாவதாக! ஆமென் அல்லேலூயா!


விலையேற பெற்ற உம் இரத்தத்தாலே

விடுதலை கொடுத்தீர்

இராஜாக்களாக லேவியராக

உமக்கென தெரிந்து கொண்டீர்

மகிமை உமக்கன்றோ

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” - (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Thoughts for Today
Some people understand God’s redemptive plan for their lives, and yet they fail to see how He can use them for His Kingdom work. They feel as though their lives have been stained too deeply by sin, and they are not useable. This is not true.
God’s plan for our lives is one of hope. He never looks back and reminds us of our past transgressions. He never says, “If only you had not done this or that, then I could use you.” These are words the enemy uses to discourage us and to keep us from being all that we can be for the Lord.
God’s purpose in saving us was not just to save us from eternal death and torment. His purpose was to save us so that we could learn to love Him the way that He loves us. Once He forgives our sins, He forgets them. What a glorious reminder of God’s unconditional love.
However, just like Paul, we were not saved merely to enjoy God’s love. We were saved with a purpose in mind: to tell others about His saving grace. This is what Paul did. Once Christ saved him, once Christ returned his earthly sight, and once Christ had prepared him, Paul began to do some serious Kingdom work. And you can, too.
Maybe you have struggled with an emotional problem and have received God’s deliverance. Won’t you be available for God to use you in someone else’s life? You may think, “No one could possibly struggle with the sin that I have fought.” Many have—and many need to know there is a way through the darkness. That way is through Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, it is hard to understand how You could possibly use me for Your glory, but I know this is exactly what You want to do. I give my life to You and ask that You would use me so that others will experience Your wondrous grace. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."

ழிவுக்கு முன்னானது அகந்தை; விழுதலுக்கு முன்னானது மனமேட்டிமை. - (நீதிமொழிகள் 16:18).


நமக்கு எல்லாருக்கும் தெரிந்த ஒரு கதையை இந்த இடத்தில் ஞாபகப்படுத்த விரும்புகிறேன். ஒரு தவளைக்கு தத்தி தத்தி குதித்து போரடித்து விட்டது. அதனால் அது பறக்க விரும்பியது. அதற்காக என்ன செய்வது என்று யோசித்து யோசித்து பார்த்தது.


கடைசியில் ஒரு திட்டம் தீட்டியது. அதன்படி அது பறப்பதற்கு இரண்டு பறவை நண்பர்கள் தேவை. ஆகையால் அது தன் இரண்டு பறவை நண்பர்களிடம் ஒரு கம்பை கொடுத்து, இரண்டு பக்கமும் அந்த கம்பை அந்த பறவைகள் கவ்வி கொள்ள இந்த தவளை நடுவில் அந்த கம்பை தன் வாயால் கவ்வி கொண்டு, உயர பறக்க வேண்டும். இதுதான் அந்த தவளையின் திட்டம்!


அதன்படியே செய்து, இப்போது தவளை பறக்க ஆரம்பித்து விட்டது! ஆஹா! என்ன ஒரு அற்புதம்! நானும் வானில் பறக்க ஆரம்பித்து விட்டேனே என்று மகிழ்ச்சியோடு அது பறந்து கொண்டிருந்தது.


கீழே தவளையோடு இருந்த மற்ற தவளை நண்பர்கள் பறந்து கொண்டிருந்த தவளையை பார்த்து, ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, ஆஹா தவளை பறக்கிறது என்று சத்தமிட்டார்கள். அதை கேட்டு தவளை பெருமிதத்தோடு பறந்து கொண்டிருந்தது.


மற்ற தவளைகள் 'இந்த ஐடியாவை கொடுத்தது யாராயிருக்கும்? அந்த பறவைகளாகத்தான் இருக்க வேண்டும்! ஏனெனில் அவைதான் வானில் எப்போதும் பறந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. ஆகவே அவைதான் இந்த அற்புத ஐடியாவை கொடுத்திருக்க வேண்டும்' என்று பறவைகளை புகழ்ந்து பேச ஆரம்பித்தனர்.


அதை கேட்ட தவளைக்கு முதலில் தான் பறக்கிறோம் என்கிற அந்த மகிழ்ச்சி மறைய ஆரம்பித்தது. 'அது ஒன்றும் பறவைகளின் திட்டம் கிடையாது. நான் தானே அதை திட்டமிட்டேன். என்னுடைய திட்டத்தின்படிதானே இப்போது பறக்கிறேன். இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் அது தெரியாமல் பறவைகளை புகழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களே' என்று வருத்தப்பட ஆரம்பித்தது.


அப்போது கீழே இருந்த மற்ற தவளைகள், 'நீயே சொல், யார் இந்த அற்புத திட்டத்தை கொடுத்தது?, பறவைகள் தானே' என்று கேட்டபோது, அது தான் கவ்வி இருப்பதால்தான் பறந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறேன் என்பதை மறந்து, மற்ற தவளைகள் தன்னை உயர்வாக நினைக்க வேண்டும் என்று நினைத்து, 'நான்தான்' என்று சத்தமிட்டது. பின்னர் நடந்தது என்ன என்பது உங்களுக்கே தெரியும்! ஆம், உயரத்தில் இருந்து கீழே விழுந்து மரித்தது! அந்தோ பரிதாபம்! நுணலும் தன் வாயால் கெடும் என்கிற பழமொழி இந்த கதையின் மூலம்தான் வந்திருக்கும் போலிருக்கிறது.


ஆம் பிரியமானவர்களே நம்மிலும் கூட சில வேளைகளில் இந்த பெருமை தலை தூக்க ஆரம்பிக்கிறது. மற்றவர்கள் செய்ய முடியாத ஒரு சில காரியங்களை நாம் செய்யும்போது நம்மையும் அறியாமல் 'இதை செய்தது நான் தானே என்கிற ஒரு பெருமை வருகிறதல்லவா? இதை இத்தனை அருமையாக என்னை விட யாரால் செய்ய முடியும்?' என்கிற எண்ணம் வந்தாலே அது பெருமையாகிறது. பெருமை வர ஆரம்பித்தால் அது வீழ்ச்சிக்கு ஆரம்பம் என்று, விழுதலுக்கு முன்னானது மனமேட்டிமை என்று வேதம் கூறுகிறது.


வேதத்தில் அநேகர் இந்த பெருமையால் விழுந்து போனார்கள் எனபதை நமக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாக எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. பரலோகத்தில் தேவனுடைய சமுகத்தில் நின்று துதித்து கொண்டிருந்த லூசிபருக்கு பெருமை வந்தபடியால் அவனோடு கூட மூன்றில் ஒரு பங்கு தூதர்கள் விழுந்து போனார்களே!


ஆமானிடம் பெருமை காணப்பட்டதால் அவன் மொர்தேகாய் தன்னை வணங்கவில்லை என்ற ஒரே காரணத்திற்காக யூத குலத்தை அழிக்க வேண்டும் என்று திட்டமிட்டு ஆனால் ஆமான் தானே தாழ்த்தப்பட்டு, அழிந்து போனான்.


பாபிலோனிய சாம்ராஜ்யத்தின் சக்ரவர்த்தியாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் 'இது என் வல்லமையின் பராக்கிரமத்தினாலும், என் மகிமைப்பிரதாபத்துக்கென்று, ராஜ்யத்துக்கு அரமனையாக நான் கட்டின மகா பாபிலோன் அல்லவா என்று சொன்னான். இந்த வார்த்தை ராஜாவின் வாயில் இருக்கும்போதே, வானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு சத்தம் உண்டாகி: ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரே, ராஜ்யபாரம் உன்னைவிட்டு நீங்கிற்று...' (தானியேல் 4:30-31) என்று அவர் தள்ளப்பட்டு, மாடுகளை போல புல்லை மேய்ந்தார் என்று வேதம் கூறுகிறது.


இப்படி பெருமையினிமித்தம் தள்ளப்பட்டு, அழிந்து போனவர்கள் அநேகரை குறித்து நாம் வேதத்தில் பார்க்கிறோம். மட்டுமல்ல, உலக சரித்திரத்திலும் அநேக இராஜாக்களும், மற்றவர்களும் பெருமைக்கு இடம் கொடுத்து அழிந்தார்கள்.


தேவன் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபை அளிக்கிறாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறது (யாக்கோபு 4:6) என்று வாசிக்கிறோம். தேவனே பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்பதால் அந்த பெருமை என்னும் அழிவின் சக்திக்கு நாம் எதிர்த்து நிற்போம். நாம் மற்றவர்கள் செய்ய முடியாத காரியங்களை செய்வோமானால் அதனால் பெருமை படாமல், கர்த்தர் எனக்கு ஞானம் கொடுத்ததால் என்னால் இதை செய்ய முடிந்தது என்று கர்த்தருக்கு கனத்தை செலுத்துவோம். அப்போது இன்னும் காரியங்களை செய்ய கர்த்தர் ஞானத்தை தருவார்.


கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று சொல்லி கொள்ளும் அநேகருக்கு தங்கள் செல்வாக்கை குறித்து பெருமை, தங்கள் ஜாதியை குறித்து பெருமை, தங்கள் படிப்பை குறித்து பெருமை, தங்கள் வீட்டை குறித்து பெருமை, தங்கள் உடைகளை குறித்து பெருமை, தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளை குறித்து பெருமை என்று எவ்வளவோ பெருமைகளினால் பீடிக்கப்பட்டு, மற்றவர்களை தாழ்வாக நினைத்து, அவர்களை மனநோக செய்து வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். கர்த்தர் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார் என்பதை நாம் அறிய வேண்டும், உணர வேண்டும். மாற வேண்டும்.


கர்த்தர் நமக்கு ஞானத்தை கொடுக்கும்போது, செல்வாக்கை கொடுக்கும்போது, நல்ல வீடுகளையும், பிள்ளைகளையும், உடைகளையும் கொடுக்கும்போது, அவருக்கே எல்லா கனத்தையும் மகிமையையும் செலுத்துவோம். அவரே அதற்கு தகுதியானவர். நம்மை அவருக்கு முன்பாக தாழ்த்துவோம். அதனால் உயர்த்தப்படுவோம். ஆமென் அல்லேலூயா!

ன் உங்களுக்குச் செய்ததுபோல நீங்களும் செய்யும்படி உங்களுக்கு மாதிரியைக் காண்பித்தேன். - (யோவான் 13:15).

இலங்கையில் ஒரு புத்த குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தவர் வீரசூர்யா. இளம் வயதில் ஒரு ஆலய ஆராதனையில் கலந்து கெண்ட போது, கிறிஸ்துவை தன் சொந்த இரட்சகராக ஏற்று கொண்டார். அப்போது இவருக்கு வயது 25. தன் இருதயத்தில் நிறைந்த இயேசுவை தன் நணபர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்க தொடங்கினார். அநேகர் இவர் மூலம் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டனர். இரட்சண்ய சேனை என்ற இயக்கத்தில் உறுப்பினராக இணைந்த இவர் அன்பையே ஆதாரமாக கொண்டு கிறிஸ்துவை போல் வாழ்ந்து காட்டினார்.


புத்த வாலிபர்கள் சிலர் இவர் கிறிஸ்தவத்தை பரப்புவதன் நிமித்தம் இவர் மேல் எரிச்சலுற்று, இவரை கொலை செய்ய வகை தேடினர். அதை அறிந்த சூர்யா அவர்களை ஒரு நாள் அடர்ந்த காட்டிற்குள் வரவழைத்தார். தான் கையில் எடுத்து சென்ற கயிற்றை அவர்களிடம் கொடுத்து, ஒரு மரத்தில் தன்னை கட்டச் சொன்னார். பின்னர் கத்தியை அவர்களிடம் கொடுத்து, தன்னை அவர்கள் விருப்பதிற்கு வெட்ட சொன்னார். அவர்களோ காரணமின்றி சூர்யாவை பகைத்ததை எண்ணி வெட்கி மன்னிப்பு கேட்டனர்.


150 ஐரோப்பியருக்கும், 150 இந்தியருக்கும் தலைவராக சில காலம் பணியாற்றினார். ஒரு முறை இரு வேலையாட்களுக்கு இடையே சண்டை ஏற்பட்டது. நீ பெரியவனா, நான் பெரியவனா என்ற சண்டை அது. இறுதியில் இவ்வழக்கு சூர்யாவிடம் வந்தது. வேலையாட்கள் இருவரையும் அழைத்தார். அவர்களை உட்கார வைத்து அவர்களின் கால்களை கழுவ ஆரம்பித்தார். அவர்களோ வேண்டவே வேண்டாம் என்று கண்ணீர் விட்டனர். இருப்பினும், சூர்யாவின் செயலால் அவர்களின் மனம் மெழுகு போல உருகியது. கண்ணீரோடு அவர்கள் தங்கள தவறை உணர்ந்து, பெரியவர் சிறியவர் என்ற சண்டையை மறந்து சகோதரர் ஆயினர். இவர் தன் வாழ்நாளெல்லாம் அன்பையே ஆதாரமாக கொண்டு கிறஸ்துவைப்போல வாழ்ந்து காட்டினார். அன்று இயேசுவுடன் இருந்த 12 பேரும் வெவ்வேறு விதங்களில் குறையுள்ளவர்களாகவே இருந்தனர். ஆனாலும் இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு பொறுமையை கற்று கொடுத்து, அன்பாய் தவறுகளை சுட்டி காடடினார். அவர்களுக்கும் யார் பெரியவன் என்ற எணண்ம் மேலோங்கியபோது 'உங்களில் தலைவனாயிருக்க விரும்புகிறவன் யாவருக்கும் பணிவிடைக்காரனாயிருக்கக்கடவன் என்றார். அவர் தாம் மரிப்பதற்கு முன்பதாக, தன்னை காட்டி கொடுக்கபோகிறவனையும், தன்னை மறுதலிக்க போகிறவனையும் அன்போடு கால்களை கழுவி தன் வஸ்திரத்தால் துடைத்து தாழ்மையையும் அன்பையும் வெளிப்படுத்தினார்.


நாம் பிறரது தவறகளை திருத்தும் முயற்சியில் எவ்வாறு நடந்து கொள்ளுகிறோம்? பிள்ளைகளிடமோ, பணியாளரிடமோ, குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்களிடமோ நாம் நடந்து கொள்ளும் விதம் எப்படி? நீதிபதியாய் தீர்ப்பிடுவது எளிது, நிதானமாய் அன்போடு எடுத்து கூறுவது கடினமே. பொதுவாக பிறருக்கு அட்வைஸ் பணணுவது என்றால் எல்லாருக்கும் பிடித்ததே. தவறு செய்தவர்களை குற்றவாளியாக கண்டு ஒதுங்கி விடுவதும், நம்மை பரிசுத்தவான்களாக காண்பிப்பதும் நமக்கு பிடித்ததே. ஆனால் அவர்களிடம் அன்புசெலுத்துவதென்பது நம்மால் இயலாத காரியம். ஆனால் அடிக்கு அடிபணியாதவர் அன்பிற்கு அடிபணிவர் என்பது பழமொழி. கடிந்து கொள்வது மிக அவசியமே, பிரம்பை கையில் எடுப்பது மிக தேவையானதே. ஆம் பிரம்பை கையாடாதவன் தன் மகனை பகைக்கிறான் என கூறும் வசனம், அதோடு முடிந்து விடாமல், அவன் மேல் அன்பாயிருக்கிறவனோ அவனை ஏற்கனவே தண்டிக்கிறான் என முடிகிறது. அன்பே இவ்வுலகில் சிறந்தது, உயர்ந்தது. அந்த அன்பை அனைவரிடமும் காட்டிய இயேசுவின் முன்மாதிரியை வாழ்ந்து, வார்த்தையிலல்ல, வாழ்வில் பிறரை ஆதாயப்படுத்துவோம்.

“Jesus replied, ‘No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God’” - (Luke 9:62).
Thoughts for Today
Having God’s vision for our lives will always keep us moving forward, but without it, we will easily lose hope and give up.
We may never share the Gospel with kings, but God has a vision for our lives, just as He did for Paul. When you feel too insignificant to make a difference, remember that you are a child of the King.
Do you find yourself stuck and unable to move forward with God’s vision? You are not alone. When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, they faced the same apprehension as we do. When they reached the Red Sea, they faced mountainous obstacles to their side, a vast sea in front of them, and a powerful army behind them (see Exodus 14).
The people wanted to turn back in fear and stay in the past life that they knew. Moses, with good intentions, wanted to stay in the present: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:14). But God wanted them to move forward into the future. “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on’” (v. 15). God helped His people supernaturally by parting the sea, but first He expected Moses to act in faith.
Sometimes we want to turn back in fear. Other times we may want to keep the status quo and wait for God to act for us. But God wants us to move forward with the vision He has given us. He will always be there to give His guidance, provision, and strength, but first we must be willing to step out in faith and follow His plan.
How willing are you to be a visionary for God? Are you willing to risk everything as Esther did? Are you willing to step out in faith like Moses? Going forward is not always simple. You will face disappointments and setbacks, oppositions and hindrances. But no matter what you face, God will see His vision for your life through to completion. Trust in Him.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, Thank You for never leaving me or forsaking me. I pray for Your power to see the vision You have for my life through to completion. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."

The God of Daniel Reigns!
One day a pastor visited a family, the pastor shared a concern. The husband was fully convinced help the pastor financially. Just then hiswife entered the room with a cup of tea. The husband told his wife all about the pastor needs. The husband looked at his wife for approval and wife in turn looked at herhusband disapprovingly. At this the husband turned to the pastor saying, “Pastor right now we are very tight financially.” Who do you think reigns in this family!
In our society we learn, that ‘Abode’ means an residence, ‘Peeth’ and ‘Dham’ means a place of worship. Most of the gods and goddesses live on high places, mountains on rocks and tree. They are worshiped according to the seasons. How different it is with our living God who wants to reign in our hearts ALL THE TIME!
God reigns-Everywhere!

A timid, simple, uneducated villager believes in the living God. On a Sunday morningas heis seated on a mat, utters broken words during prayer, sings the songs out of tune, or his eyes tear up when he worships - this is the evidence that God reigns in that person’s life!

Our missionaries are translating God’s Word in the languages of the people groups. In order to create interest in people to read God’s Word. The translators write God’s Word on simple things like plates, on shopping bags in the remote villages. When you read a Bible verse on a shopping bag in the village market, it is not just the readerswho are enriched through the Word, but it also reflects His reign on earth. The Creator God talks with me even in a busy place like market!

We spend most of our waking hours at our workplace. You and I can show that the Lord reigns by the way we conduct ourselves at the place of work. One of the prime examples that can be quoted from Bible is from the life of Daniel.Daniel was surrounded by the alien culture; he was a ‘lonely outsider’.
1. Babylonian army requirement of Daniel was that he should possess the following qualities
• Without physical defect
• Handsome
• Aptitude for learning
• Well informed
• Quick to understand
• Qualified to serve the kings palace 1:4

2. King Nebuchadnezzar was able to witness the reign of God through the life of Daniel, therefore he said, “Everything He does is right, His ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.” 4:37
3. The Queen witnessed God’s reign in Daniel and said,“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whomis the spirit of the holy gods.”….5:11
4. The administrators could find no fault with Daniel and said, “He was trustworthy, and neither corrupt nor negligent”…6:4. The power of righteous life penetrates the surrounding. 6:11
5. KingDarius witness the reign of God in the life of Daniel, the innocent and so he was greatly distressed…6:14a, spent the night without eating...and he could not sleep. 6:18
i. The king talks about the God of the Daniel
ii. “For He is the living God, and he endures forever, and His kingdom willnot be destroyed, and His dominion will never end. He rescues and saves, He performs signs and wonders in heavens and on the earth, He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.” 6:27

King Darius came under the reign of God! So the decree: “I issue a decree that every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. 6:26a.

1. The plan and schemes of man
The king made the image of gold and announced that whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace 3:1-6
At this the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. 6:4
“Did you not publish a decree that during next 30 days anyone who prays to any god or man except to you, O king, would be thrown into lions’ den?” 6:12
But the fire could not consume the three men, administrators could not find fault and lions could not kill Daniel! For He is the living God and he endures [steadfast] forever…6:26.
The ones who are masters in planning and organizing end up in building companies, but those who like Daniel; uncompromising, obedient and who fear God are the ones who pave the way for God to move.The most scientific and professional planning resist the spirit of God.For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. 1 Cor 3:19-20. A man's heart devises his way: but the LORD directs his steps. Pro 16:9.

Here the king’s words are final. The people are programed not to think beyond the structure.
Everybody knows that God reigns over all that He has created. We sing, ‘Our God reigns’. BUT, does ‘our’ God reign in me? The world wants to know as to what extent ‘our’ God reigns in my personal life! Today we live in the world that man wants to be on top. Does God reign or I? You believe it or not, the rich, the powerful, the big talkers reign.

3. The ‘unwritten law’ in practiced by man
He reveals the deep and secret things: he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with him. 2:22. The unwritten law is in operation in all the spheres of life. Like ‘caste system’, ‘lobbying by the powerful’, one community over other. Therefore, only certain types of people are on the top in leadership in a Christian community.The most wanted, attracted and beautiful thing on earth today is that ‘Man is a king’. How sad it is that in the name of God, man tries to builds his own kingdom.

4. Loyalty to the world rather than to God
But Daniel resolved not to defiled himself with the royal food and wine, And he asked the chief officials for permission not to defile himself this way.1:8
Those who want to do their own will float with the flow and end up compromising Christian values. We lack godliness to go against the current especially at the time of important decision making. Is God reigning in me or a friend influencing with his/her values? The most important decision is taken today in the presence of ‘Mr Powerful’ and not in the presence of the living God.

My will vs God’s Reign!
a. But Daniel resolved in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank… 1:8
b. King Darius says, I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men are to fear and tremble before the God of Daniel: 6:26. Daniel had lot of energy to serve His God. His thoughts about God were higher thoughts.
c. Daniel’s prayers reveal his helplessness 9: 4-19
i. Daniel identified the sins of the people in his prayer using the term ‘we’.
ii. We have been wicked and done wrong
iii. We have been wicked and have rebelled
iv. We have turned away from your commands and laws
v. We have not listened to your servants the prophets
vi. We and our kings, our princes and our fathers are covered with shame
vii. We have rebelled against him
viii. We have not obeyed the Lord our God
ix. We have not sought the favor of the Lord
Not because we are righteous but because who you are! V 18,19
Only the confession of my helplessness brings in God’s reign.
d. Daniel’s worship [praise] reveals God’s powerfulness 2:20-22
Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his. And he changes the times and the seasons: he sets up kings, and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals the deep and secret things: he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with him.
c. The result : King Nebuchadnezzar and King Darias acknowledged and worship God! 1:3,6:26-27,4:34-35

Conclusion
It is a constant struggle between the Spirit and our flesh. We fail to realize that our security and identity is not in people but in God.

நீ கர்த்தருடைய கையில் அலங்காரமான கிரீடமும், உன் தேவனுடைய கரத்தில் ராஜமுடியுமாயிருப்பாய்'. - (ஏசாயா 62:3).

ஒரு கூடைபந்து என் கரத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, அது 19 டாலராகத்தான் இருக்கும், அதே கூடைபந்து, மைக்கேல் ஜோர்தானின் கரத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, 33 மில்லயன் டாலர் மதிப்புள்ளதாக இருக்கும்.


ஒரு கிரிக்கெட் மட்டை என் கையில் இருக்கும்போது, அதற்கு 200 ரூபாய் மட்டுமே அதன் மதிப்பு. அதே மட்டை சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கரின் கரத்தில் இருக்கும்போது அதற்கு எத்தனையோ ஆயிரங்கள் மதிப்பு.


ஒரு எழுதுகோல் என் கரத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, அது எனது வாழ்நாளுக்கு தேவையான காரியங்களை எழுத மட்டுமே பயன்படும். அதே எழுதுகோல் ஷேக்ஸ்பியரின் கரத்தில் இருந்தபோது, காலத்தால் அழியாத காவியங்களை படைக்க முடிந்தது.


ஒரு கோல் என் கரத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, அது காய வைத்திருக்கும் உணவு பொருளை சாப்பிடவரும் காகங்களையும், பறவைகளையும் விரட்டி அடிக்கும், ஆனால் அந்த கோல் மோசேயின் கரத்தில் இருந்தபோது, அது கரைபுரண்டு ஓடும் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தை இரண்டாக பிரிக்க வல்லமையுள்ளதாக இருந்தது.


ஒரு கவண்வில் என் கரத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, அது ஒரு விளையாட்டு பொருளாகத்தான் இருக்கும். ஆனால் அது தாவீதின் கரத்தில் இருந்தபோது, தேவனை எதிர்த்து நின்ற ஒரு இராட்சதனை கொன்று போட வல்லமையுள்ளதாக இருந்தது.


ஐந்து அப்பமும் இரண்டு மீனும் என் கரத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, அது எனக்கு சாப்பிட ஒரு வேளை உணவு மட்டுமே. ஆனால் அது கர்த்தரின் கரத்தில் இருந்தபோது, ஆயிரமாயிரமான பேருக்கு பசியை போக்க வல்லதாயிருந்தது.


ஒரு ஆணி என் கரத்தில் இருந்தால், அதினால் ஒரு காலண்டரை மாட்ட முடியும். ஆனால் அதுவே கர்த்தரின் கரத்தில் பாய்ந்திருந்தபோது, மனுக்குலத்திற்கே மீட்பை உண்டு பண்ணிற்று.


ஆகவே யாருடைய கரத்தில் இருக்கிறதோ அதை பொறுத்து காரியங்கள் வாய்க்கும்.


உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை யாருடைய கரத்தில் இருக்கிறது? கர்த்தருடைய கரத்திலா? உலகத்தினரின் கரத்திலா? சாத்தானின் கரத்திலா? கர்த்தருடைய கரத்தில் இருந்தால், 'நீ கர்த்தருடைய கையில் அலங்காரமான கிரீடமும், உன் தேவனுடைய கரத்தில் ராஜமுடியுமாயிருப்பாய்' என்ற வசனத்தின்படி கர்த்தர் நம்மை மாற்றுவார். உலகத்தின் கரத்தில் இருந்தால், அவர்கள் உங்களை தங்கள் தேவைப்படி உபயோகித்து, பின்னர் தூக்கி எறிந்து விடுவார்கள். சாத்தானின் கரத்தில் இருந்தால், தனது இஷ்டப்படி அவன் உங்களை ஆட்டுவிப்பான். நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும் கர்த்தரின் கரத்தில் நம்மை அர்ப்பணிப்போமா?


உங்கள் நம்பிக்கை, உங்கள் கனவுகள், உங்கள் பயங்கள், உங்கள் தேவைகள், உங்கள் குடும்பங்கள், உங்கள் உறவுகள், உங்கள் எதிர்காலம் எல்லாவற்றையும் கர்த்தருடைய கரத்தில் வைத்துவிடுங்கள். அவர் உங்களை விசாரிக்கிறவராகையால் உங்கள் கவலைகளை அவர் மேல் வைத்து விடுங்கள் என்று வேதம் நமக்கு சொல்லவில்லையா? அவருடைய கரத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, நீங்கள் எதை குறித்தும் கவலைப்பட தேவையில்லை. அவர் எல்லாவற்றையும் பார்த்து கொள்வார். அவரே நமது தேவைகளை சந்திக்கும் யெகோவாயீரே! ஆமென் அல்லேலூயா! யாருடைய கரத்தில் நீங்கள் இருக்கிறீர்கள் என்பதை பொறுத்து உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை அமையும்!


யெகோவாயீரே எல்லாம் தருபவர்

என் தேவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும்

என் தேவன் தந்து என்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்

Today's Scripture
“May the God of peace . . . equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” - (Hebrews 13:20-21).
Thoughts for Today
We often claim that we want God’s vision and we want God to use us, but in reality we mean this only on our terms. Our words loudly profess, “Here I am, Lord. Use me however you want.” But our hearts whisper, “Lord, I want to serve You, but only if it means working on this project or serving in that location. I definitely don’t want to witness to this particular person or to that particular group.”
No biblical example better reflects this attitude than Jonah. In this book of Scripture, we see a man who had served God faithfully in the past, but resisted God’s call when it became less comfortable: “The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: ‘Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.’ But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish” (Jonah 1:1-3).
Jonah’s call to witness to the Ninevites was no easy task. These were not peaceful, easygoing pagans. This large city was the capital of the ancient Assyrian empire, a people known for their violence and cruelty. Jonah quickly forgot about the sovereignty and providence of God, and caved into his own panic and fears.
Yet, the Scriptures tell us, “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord. . . . But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God” (2 Timothy 1:7, 8).
It is easy to do God’s work when the recipient is someone we care for—but what happens when God wants us to minister to someone who is offensive, obnoxious, or condescending?
Jonah’s response to God’s vision for his life was one of rebellion and resistance. Instead of heading for Nineveh, he ran for Tarshish. Instead of obedience, he chose to flee from God and from His call.
Has God given you a vision that you don’t like or that you are running from right now? Are you on your way to Nineveh—or have you boarded the ship for Tarshish?
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for Your vision for my life. Grant me a spirit of obedience. Protect me from ignoring Your voice out of fear, embarrassment, or even disdain. Forgive me for the times I already have ignored Your call. Grant me a willing spirit to fully submit to and fulfill Your vision for my life. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."

மாறாத கர்த்தரின் அழைப்பு.................
நான் உன்னை அனுப்புகிற எல்லாரிடத்திலும் நீ போய், நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிறவைகளையெல்லாம் நீ பேசுவாயாக. - (எரேமியா 1:7).

அமெரிக்காவின் நியூஜெர்சியில் 1270ஆம் ஆண்டு பாய்மரக்கப்பல் ஒன்று கடற்பாறையில் மோதி விபத்துக்குள்ளானது. இதில் அநேகர் மாண்டனர். உயிர் தப்பிய ஒரு சிலரில் மரே என்ற குருவானவர் ஒருவரும் ஆவார். இதில் அவரது மனைவி, பிள்ளைகள் எல்லாரும் மரித்து விட்டார்கள். ஒரு புதிய தீவில் கரை சேர்ந்த அவரால் அந்த துயர சம்பவத்தை தாங்க முடியவில்லை. தான் அனாதை ஆவதற்கு ஆண்டவர்தான் காரணம் என்று ஆண்டவரை மறுதலித்து. அப்புதியத்தீவில் வாழ்நாளை கழிக்கவும், மனம் போல் வாழவும் தீர்மானித்தார்.


கலக்கம் நிறைந்தவராய் தெருவில் சென்றபோது ஒரு மனிதன் எதிர்ப்பட்டான். அவன் அவரை நோக்கி, ' உமக்காக காத்து கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்' என்றான். 'என்னை உமக்கு தெரியுமா' என்று கேட்டார் மரே. 'ஐயா, இயேசுவை பற்றி நான் சிறிது அறிந்து வைத்துள்ளேன். என் மனைவி வேத வசனங்களை வாசித்து எனக்கு சொல்லுவாள். எனது வீட்டில்தான் சபையாக கூடி ஆண்டவரை ஆராதிக்கிறோம். ஆனால் வேதத்தை பற்றி போதிக்கவோ, பிரசங்கிக்வோ எங்களில் யாரும் கிடையாது. ஆகையால் எங்களோடு நிலையாக தங்கி இருந்து ஊழியம் செய்யும் போதகரை தாரும் என நீண்ட நாட்களாக ஜெபித்து வந்தோம். நேற்றிரவு எங்கள் சபையில் ஒருவருடைய தரிசனத்தில், 'கப்பற் சேதத்தில் தப்பி பிழைக்கும் குருவானவர் ஒருவரை உங்களுக்கு ஊழியராக அனுப்பியுள்ளேன்' என இயேசுகிறிஸ்து வெளிப்டுத்தினார். அதே போன்று நீங்கள் வந்துள்ளீர்கள்' என்றான். இதை கேட்ட மரே அவர்கள் கர்தருடைய வழிநடத்துதலை அறிந்து அங்கேயே தங்கி பணி செய்தார். தனக்கு வந்த பாடுகள், பிரச்சனைகளின் காரணத்தை இந்த தேவமனிதரால் அந்த பாடுகளின் நேரத்தில் அறிந்து கொள்ள முடியவில்லை. ஆனால் அவற்றின் மத்தியிலும் தேவன் அவரை அழைத்த அழைப்பில் உறுதியாயிருந்தார். ஏனெனில் 'தேவனுடைய கிருபைவரங்களும், அவர்களை அழைத்த அழைப்பும் மாறாதவைகளே' - (ரோமர் 11:29). மனிதன்தான் கர்த்தர் தன்னை அழைத்ததை மறந்து அல்லது பாடுகள் போராட்டங்கள் வரும்போது அவரது அழைப்பை அசட்டை பண்ணி விடுகிறான். ஆனால் தேவன் நம்மை ஒருவிசை அழைத்தால் அந்த அழைப்பு என்றும் மாறாததே! அல்லேலூயா!


யோனாவின் சரித்திரத்தை பார்க்கும்போது, கர்த்தர் யோனாவை நினிவேக்கு போய் அங்கு பிரசங்கிக்கும்படி கூறுகிறார். யோனா நினிவேயில் வாழ்கிற மக்கள் மிகவும் மோசமானவர்கள், மனம்திரும்ப மாட்டார்கள், தன்னை கொன்று விடுவார்கள் என்று பயந்து, தர்ஷீசுக்கு போக தொடங்குகிறார். ஆனால் தேவனுடைய திட்டம் யோனாவை கொண்டுதான் நினிவேயை இரட்சிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதாயிருந்தது. ஆகவே யோனா தர்ஷீசுக்கு போக எத்தனித்தாலும், கடலில் புயலை வரவழைத்து, கடலில் தூக்கி எறியப்பட்டு, ஒரு மீனினால் விழுங்கப்பட்டு, அசாதாரணமான காரியங்களை செய்து, கர்த்தர் யோனாவை நினிவேக்கு கொண்டு வந்து, சுவிசேஷத்தை சொல்ல வைக்கிறார். ஆம், அவர் உங்களை கொண்டு செய்ய நினைத்திருக்கிற காரியத்தை உங்களை கொண்டுதான் செய்ய வைப்பார். அதில் மாற்றம் எதுவுமே இருக்காது. நாம் மாற்ற நினைத்தாலும், சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனின் திட்டத்தில் நாம் இருந்தால், அவருடைய சித்தம் மாத்திரமே நிறைவேறும்.


தேவ ராஜ்யத்தின் பணிக்கென ஏதாவதொரு விதத்தில் ஊழியம் செய்யும்படி தேவன் உங்களிடம் பலமுறை பேசியிருக்கலாம், ஆனால் நீங்கள் பல காரணங்களால் தேவ சித்தத்தை தவிர்த்து, தப்பவேண்டும் என்று நினைத்திருக்கலாம். ஆனால் தேவன் உங்களை தவிர்க்க போவதில்லை. உங்களை கொண்டு என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று அவர் நினைத்திருக்கிறாரோ அந்த காரியத்தை அவர் உங்களை கொண்டுதான் செய்யப்போகிறார்.


தேவாதி தேவனுடைய மாபெரும் கட்டளைக்கும் சித்தத்திற்கும் நம்மை அர்ப்பணித்து இந்த புதிய வருடத்தில் தேவன் நம்மை செய்ய சொல்லியிருக்கும் காரியத்தை செய்ய நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். ஒருவேளை தள்ளி போட்டு கொண்டே இருந்தோமானால், யோனாவை போல மீனின் வயிற்றில் இருந்தபோது அவருக்கு ஞானோதயம் வந்தது போல் நம் வாழ்விலும் நம்மை அவருடைய சித்தத்திற்கு கீழ்ப்படிய வைக்க தேவன் சில காரியங்களை அனுமதிக்கலாம். அவருடைய சித்தத்திற்கு கீழ்ப்படிவோம். அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை பெற்று கொள்வோம். ஆமென் அல்லேலூயா!
