Has someone wronged you? If so, be rich in mercy and compassion. God speaks to forgive them as God has forgiven you.

"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us,"( Ephesians 2:4).

The lesson of this verse is about God's boundless love and mercy towards humanity. This verse emphasizes that God's love is not conditional but based on abundant mercy and grace. It reminds us of the importance of love, compassion and forgiveness in our lives as well as the central theme of the scriptures. , it teaches us to understand and appreciate the depth of God's love for us.
Therefore, "and be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, just as God, for Christ’s sake, forgave you ( Ephesians 4:32).

Every believer should be clearly aware of the importance of kindness, compassion, and patience in our dealings with others. The Word encourages us to imitate the forgiveness that God has given us through Jesus Christ and to apply it in our relationships with one another.

"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. ( Matthew 6:14-15 ).

The parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15 refers to God's mercy to sinners. Contrast this with the unloving and unforgiving behavior of the Pharisees and scribes toward sinners (Luke 15:1-2).
Beloved, don't judge or exclude others based on their past actions or their social status, but with a reminder to follow Jesus' example in offering love, acceptance and spiritual guidance to all.

"And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate it, and also gave some to her husband with her. And he ate it."
_Genesis 3:6_

*Notice what Eve did:*
1. She looked,
2. She took,
3. She ate, and
4. She gave.
The battle is often lost at the first look. Temptation often begins by simply seeing something you want.

Are you struggling with temptation because you have not learned that looking is the first step toward sin?

You will overcome temptation more often if you follow Paul’s advice to run from those things that produce evil thoughts (2 Timothy 2:22)

God chose Israel through Abraham because he wanted to, not because the people deserved it (Deuteronomy 7:6-8; 9:4-6).

Although God chose the Israelites to represent him to the world, they failed to do this, so God judged them for their disobedience and sent them into captivity.

Now all believers are God’s chosen people, and all share the responsibility of representing him to the world.
One day God will bring all his faithful people together.
We need not fear because (1) God is with us (“I am with you”); (2) God has established a relationship with us (“I am your God”); and (3) God gives us assurance of his strength, help, and victory over sin and death.

Are you aware of all the ways God has helped you?

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End”, says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty”.
Revelation 1:8

Alpha and omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet.
The Lord God himself is the beginning and the end of all things.
God the Father is the eternal Lord and ruler of the past, present, and future (Rev: 4:8; Isaiah 44:6; 48:12-15).
Without him you have nothing that is eternal, nothing that can change your life, nothing that can save you from sin.
Is the Lord your reason for living, “the Alpha and the Omega” of your life?
Honor the one who is the beginning and the end of all existence, wisdom, and power.

*Hearing His Voice #*

In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:1

From the first pages of Scripture, God speaks. Every time He utters a word, things happen. He says, “Let there be light,” and light comes into being—and He keeps talking until our entire universe is filled with order and life. He calls out a people from among the nations and reveals His purposes through them. He chooses prophets to deliver His messages when those people are in danger and need to return to Him. And when He sends His own Son to live among us, the Son is called “the Word.” Clearly, we do not serve a silent God.

Many people can’t say with any certainty that God still speaks today, much less to them personally. They can accept His written Word as His voice—generalized for all who read it, of course—but for personal conversations and direction, they strive and strain to hear. Our theology tells us that God is quite vocal, even if our experience tells us He isn’t. The result of this paradox is a lot of theory, little practice, and a considerable amount of frustration.

Step one in hearing God is acknowledging that He still speaks. We have to be convinced of that in order to press through the frustrations on the way to hearing Him. Low expectations will undermine our efforts. If we know He’s the Word who always has something to say, we won’t give up easily in our attempts to hear Him. Most of all, we’ll believe—a prerequisite to receiving anything from God. Faith opens our ears.

Believe not only that God still speaks, but that He’s speaking to you. He calls you into a relationship, and relationships are based on communication. Conversations with God are normal—you were designed for them. Believe and listen—and know that you will hear.
_
_Living Word, I invite You to speak to me. I know You have been; please open my ears to hear. I want to learn the sound of Your voice and know Your thoughts. In faith, I’m listening.__
