With the growing possibility of BJP securing a two-thirds majority in West Bengal in support of Hindutva, it has been observed that certain groups and individuals—who remained opposed to the BJP until the day of voting—are now becoming active in seeking entry into the party. Their apparent intention seems to be to preserve their own dominance, influence, and involvement in corrupt practices under the party’s banner.
Some individuals identified so far in this context are:
• Jhontu Ghosh – Bharuidanga
• Balaram Ghosh – Srinathpur
• Darshan Ghosh – Ganj Danga
• Biswajit Haldar (Saheb) – Char Majdia. ABP Ananda associatesISKCON Mayapur & Kolkata associates – Radha Raman Das (also known as Rahul Yadav) and others
In this context, I humbly request that the matter be treated with utmost seriousness and that necessary caution and awareness be exercised immediately. It is essential that no such individuals or groups are allowed to join the organization without proper scrutiny, verification, observation, and a reasonable period of assessment.
Safeguarding the party’s ideology, discipline, and reputation should remain our top priority, and I trust that appropriate steps will be taken in this regard.
