God asked Job if he was around to observe the magnificence of creation, "while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy" (Job 38:7). O sing to the LORD a new song, For He has done wonderful things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him. (Psalms 98:1)
The Bible shows us that God loves all of humankind to sing to Him - choirs feature in the Bible'
s own description of divine worship. In 2009, it was observed that a sizeable English Speaking community was participating for the evening mass on Sundays. Ignatius allotted a part of the Mass Service to them. In February, 2013, a separate Service in English was initiated by Fr. Choral singing can be a powerful means of moving members of the congregation to truly praise and worship God in spirit and in truth. In order to revive the service, Fr. Stephen invited some instrument players and singers within the Parish to form a choir. A choir which should only sing for the Lords glory! Singing is twice praying; where an individual come forward with willingness and committed hearts to glorify the Almighty; an attitude of service, striving to give their very best to God. "Each one, as a good stewards of God's different gifts, must use for the good of others the special gift he has received from God" (1 Peter 4:10). With the spirit to serve Lord Mr. Darryl Collins, volunteered to share his rich experience by mentoring and guiding the Little Flower Choir. Not to us, o lord, not to us, but to your name give glory because of your loving kindness, because of your truth. - Psalms 115:1
If God has blessed you with the gift of singing, give it as a living sacrifice to Him.
