KNEES FOR THE WORLD

KNEES FOR THE WORLD "I urge you, first of all, to pray for ALL PEOPLE . Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them." 1 Timothy 2 :1

Holding on to anger, resentment and thoughts of revenge, God reminds us to embrace forgiveness at the end of the year and move forward to 2022.

The Bible says, "...Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times? Jesus answered, I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times". (Mathew 18:21&22)

Yes, forgiveness becomes really hard especially when we are hurt by someone whom we love and trust the most. However, if the offender is not willing to communicate with us, we can still forgive. Remember forgiveness is possible even if reconciliation isn't. Therefore, let us choose not to dwell on anger anymore even though there is a big scar left behind. Amen.

Everything we experience daily in our earthly temporary tent prepares us for our unseen permanent Home.

The Bible says, "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal". ( 2 Corinthians 4:18)

Yes, how long can we stay in this temporary tent? Although comfortable, we must pack our tent one day. Remember, this tent will give its way whether we like it or not and we need to move to our perfect and permanent Home, although unseen it is real. Therefore, let us keep looking through our eyes of faith, for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Amen.

When our situation becomes the toughest, it becomes God’s specialty. Because, He can cut a clear pathway through anything.
The Bible says, "Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters". (Isaiah 43:16)
Yes, God always provides a way out. He can split the sea, move mountains, close the mouths of lions, open prison doors, and protect us from the flames of any adversity. Remember, He’s the God of miracles. He never changes. For He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. Therefore, let us lay before Him that hopeless situation, where we see no answer for God alone can make a way where there seems to be no way. Amen.

If we are feeling a little down today, God wants us to lift our eyes up and then look down.

The Bible says, "Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath". (Isaiah 51:6)

Yes, whenever the outlook is disturbing, let us try uplook, because when we lift our eyes up, God helps us to look at our problems through the lens of His mercy and grace. Remember, if it is big enough to worry about, then it is big enough to pray about. Therefore, let us lift our eyes higher than our circumstances, higher than our troubles, and higher than our trials, for our help comes only from the Lord, Who made the heaven and the earth. Amen.

When life overwhelms like a mountain towering over us, we need to remind ourselves that we have an omnipotent God who is bigger than our problems.

The Bible says,"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me"?(Jeremiah 32:27)

Yes, there is no prayer, no problem and no person too hard for the Lord to answer, to solve and to save. Indeed, He is God of all flesh, creator of the universe and ruler of all mankind. And nothing is too hard for Him. Remember, even the problem which is in our thoughts right now looks very insignificant in the light of the omnipotence of our God. Therefore, no matter what may come, let us trust Him for He is able to help us beyond our calculation and bless us beyond our imagination. Amen .
