Jesus Mission is committed to communicate the life changing message of our Lord Jesus Christ to every soul in the world. This mission was born with a vision on the 14th January 1995, founded by Andrew Dev in Chennai India. Jesus Mission is registered as a nonprofit organization in the Government of India. The office of the mission is functioning with 10 full time staffs and 25 volu

ntary staffs. God has expanded this mission as a 12 faceted ministry. Dr. Andrew Dev is the Founder and President of The Jesus Mission. God saved him in the year 1984 May 31 and Andrew gave His life to his Saviour Jesus. God called him to serve for His Kingdom in the year of 1995 and he started the ministry called ‘The Jesus Mission’. He finished his two Master Degrees in the University of Madras and got honorary Ph.D degree in Christian theologies from a Christian University. He is a preacher, bible teacher, song writer and author of 30 books. Andrew is also the founder & Principal of a bible training college called ‘Bible Calls’ (www.biblecalls.com). He has been the ambassador for gospel in India for more than 28 years. His vision is to take the gospel of Christ to all over Asia. The biggest continent in the world having more non Christian countries. Andrew is based in Chennai, India lives with his loving wife Dr. Jeyarani and two sons Abishek & Josephus. Dr. Jeyarani Dev is professionally a medical doctor. While studying in medical school she accepted Lord Jesus Christ as her personal saviour in the year 1982. From that day she started her ministry among young girls. Now she is an anointed preacher among women, author, youth counselor, song writer, and a worship leader. On other side she is doing medical ministry for the poor and needy for more than 20 years. Jeyarani serves as a full time minister in God’s vineyard and leading hundreds of women to Christ. She has a great passion for souls and fire for God to reach all the women in India. God is using this couple all over the world.

1. Gospel Ministry: Reaching the unreached with the Gospel of Christ is our main vision. Through our Gospel convention, revival camps, thousands of souls have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviour during the past 27 years Unreached towns, rural villages, and tribal mountains are our mission fields

2. Bible Training College: Training pastors and equipping young men and women for Evangelism is the purpose of our Bible Training College. Teaching Bible, practical training for evangelism, church planting, Leadership programs are the main areas in which the students are being trained. At present we have 3 bible training centers in India in which 216 students are studying at present.

3. Women’s Ministry: women’s wing is actively functioning in this mission. Conducting Women’s conference, Ladies fasting prayers, women’s prayer groups, Weekly, Monthly meetings are our regular ministries among women. Women’s wing is rapidly growing by leading the women to Salvation, preparing them towards Godliness & Soul winning, empowering them for Intercession, and by Equipping them for Evangelism.

4. Youth and Children: Jesus Mission has a passion in reaching the young generation with the gospel and raising an army for Christ. For today’s children are our tomorrow’s generation. To reach this generation Jesus Mission is doing ministry in Colleges and schools. We conduct Youth camps, Discipleship training programs, and Vacational Bible Training College . 12 voluntary workers are involved in this ministry among young people

5. Medical Mission: Numerous slums in India are without proper medical facilities. Community based health services are very less for under privileged and underserved group of people. Jesus Mission’s medical team has dedicated to serve these villages and slum people through our monthly free medical camps. The existing medical team with 6 medical doctors, 9 paramedical workers and 20 volunteers are currently traveling to different remote villages.

6. Literature Ministry: It is not easy to reach the 1652 language speaking people in India merely by preaching but it is possible to reach them through literature written in their native languages. Jesus Mission is using different methods to take the word of God through literature to different language speaking people by printing gospel booklets,bible study materials, tracts, and spiritual books through which thousands have accepted Christ and are growing in the Lord.

7. Widows Ministry In every two homes there is widow. All these widows need comfort, mental support, spiritual counseling and humanitarian help. Our passion is to give them the needed hope and comfort through Jesus. Sympathy is no substitute for action. So Jesus Mission is showing God’s love through action. Our widows care programme is comforting and strengthening these widows . We take care of 300 widowsthrough our widows care programme.

8. Tribal ministry: ‘Bible Calls’ has a passion to reach the tribal people who live in mountainous area. Establishing churches among tribal community is our vision for this decade. Jesus Mission is doing mission works in the tribal regions in Orissa and in The Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu. The greatest obstacle we face in establishing churches here is the language barrier. To overcome this barrier we are training native missionaries to reach their own community people. ‘Bible calls’ has a Bible training college for the Tribal missionaries in Nilgiris to train them for Evangelism among their community people.

9. Family Vision Conference: India is a big country with millions of families to be reached with the covenant blessing of God for families. We want everyone to build a great family according to God’s pattern. With this passion we plan to conduct family Conferences in all the major cities and towns in India. Our Family conferences provide the motivation, methods, and tools to build God centered families. Our goal is to teach and train families to lay foundation for the future generation. Every year we conduct 6 family conferences in 6 different places in India.

10. Prayer Ministry: Prayer is the back bone of this ministry .The secret and the success of this ministry is prayer Jesus Mission’s prayer ministry wing is working as follows: 1. Prayer groups at homes, 2.prayer groups in the work places, 3.prayer groups at schools and colleges, 4. Chain prayer for 12 hours.5 Weekly & monthly fasting prayers 6. Prayer seminars .7. Men prayer fellowship & women prayer fellowship

11. Church planting: Churches in India are growing very fast.. The ultimate goal of our Bible training college is church planting .All the students studying in our Mission Training College are equipped to establish churches in villages, towns and cities. Our vision is to establish atleast 100 churches in this decade in India. All the native missionaries will be encouraged and motivated to establish churches in their home towns and villages.

12. Home for orphans: Our Lord Jesus has commanded us to have compassion for the poor and needy. Through our Mathew 25 project we are helping orphan children Monthly help is given to the orphans for their education and free medical treatment to the poor and needy children who live in slums. Our vision is to have a home for orphans in Ooty and Chennai not only to feed them and care them, but also to bring them up as God’s ambassadors for His Kingdom.
