Matthew 5:45 "In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike."
Jesus wants us to be like his Father in treating others. He preached the scriptures completely different from the Pharisees bringing out the reason behind the given law. Let us walk in his standard than following our own understanding of the law.

As a Christian, the standard set by Christ is very high. It is impossible to please God without Faith. Likewise, it is impossible for us to walk in his standard. But with the Holy Spirit we can achieve what Jesus had instructed us. Let the Spirit in you produce the goodness and make you the person who God wants to see.

John 16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you." When Jesus shares his decision to take up the cross, the disciples did not welcome it. But little did they knew it will change their lives once and forever. Likewise, people may never acknowledge your decision, but trust God for it to turn out best.

Isaiah 30:21 says "Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left." Yes, our Lord will speak and he can speak to anyone. There is no barrier for a believer to listen God speaking. He is our guide, our leader, our role model. His voice is always the first which comes when we miss our mark. He corrects, He disciplines and He makes us better than ever.

We have a God who can speak to us. The Bible promises us to be led by the good shepherd. For the sheep to follow the shepherd to goodness, all it had to do is know the voice of the Shepherd. When you are guided with the right voice, you will never end up in shame.

What is it? It will be the power of God which gives you rest. Yes, Rest is invaluable. No one in the world can promise you rest when you are alive. Jesus promised rest for you.
