Evangelical Church of India The Evangelical Church of India (ECI) is a major Christian denomination in India. It has at least 100,000s of members. Bishop Dr.M.

It has congregations in at least ten states of India. It has Allahabad Bible Seminary in Allahabad, Calcutta Bible Seminary in Kolkata and Madras Theological Seminary and College in Chennai. Its existence is because of the activity of the Oriental Missionary Society, (OMS International). Ezra Sargunam has been consecrated bishop in 1993.
