Church of South India

Church of South India Second largest church community in India. It is united and formed in 1947 and established in 4 states and one union territory in India and Jaffna in Srilanka.

Church of South India (CSI) is the second largest church community in India (After Catholic Church in India) having 22 dioceses with 4 million people and 15 thousand congregations. It has Churches also in other parts of the world. The Church of South India is the successor of the Church of England in India. It came into being by a union of Anglican and Protestant churches in South India.
