Arumbakkam AG had its beginning in the year 1993 when God laid a burden for souls in the heart of Pastor. Sam Mark Raj in a place which never had a church before. After receiving the calling to start a church followed by fervent prayers in and around MMDA Colony, this church was dedicated on 19th September 1993 by the leaders and ministers of Assembly of God. Though the beginning was humble, by th

e preaching of God's powerful word and endless prayers, the church began to grow both in numbers and sound doctrine. Many non Christians and Christians who never had a relationship with Christ in the neighborhood began to experience miracles through the ministry started giving their lives to Christ and joined the church.
