God's Interruption | Sermon | Ps Sheridon Vedhavinod

This weeks message from Luke 5:1–11 reminded us that Jesus often works through the interruptions in our lives. Just as He stepped into Peter’s boat, then into his work, and finally into his future, God gently but powerfully steps into our private space, our plans, and our priorities to lead us into His greater purpose.

His interruptions are not meant to harm us, but to help us see who He truly is and who we truly are. In those moments, God reveals His power, exposes our weakness, and invites us into deeper surrender. Like Peter, our response must be: “Because You say so, Lord, I will.”

May we learn to trust God’s interruptions, knowing they are leading us toward His divine plan for our lives.

Growing in Spiritual Maturity 🌿

From Philippians 1:9–10, Paul reminds us that as believers we are called to keep growing in our faith. Spiritual maturity is seen in three key areas:

1. Grow in Love – Our love for God and others should grow more and more as we spend time in His Word and prayer.

2. Grow in Discernment – We need spiritual wisdom to recognize truth and avoid deception in a world full of many voices.

3. Grow in Holiness – God calls us to live pure and blameless lives, setting boundaries and overcoming sin through the help of the Holy Spirit.

Our Christian life is a journey of constant growth. May we continue to grow in love, discernment, and holiness until the day of Christ.

A Path Of Restoration | Ps Samuel Johnson | Shiloh Faithpoint

What a powerful reminder from Luke 24 (Road to Emmaus). Two disciples walked away from Jerusalem feeling defeated—hopes crushed after the crucifixion. But even when they didn’t recognize Him, Jesus was walking with them.

This message highlights four encouragements:

God is on the move—He hasn’t abandoned you, even in your hardest season.

Your eyes aren’t always right—faith isn’t built on signs, but on God’s Word.

Hope can become fragile—but our hope is in a Person: the risen Jesus.

Scripture brings “heartburn”—when Jesus opens His Word, faith and fire rise again.

Just like those disciples, when revelation came, they weren’t the same anymore. They regained hope, recognized Jesus, and ran back to Jerusalem with a renewed purpose.
